Even worse: he’s white and seems like a really nice guy. You know they’ll be together forever, and you must move on. To be anything but happy for her is to admit that your love was a lie.

Love feels amazing. I feel like you are confusing a strong desire to be with someone as love. Normies wouldn't understand something like that. Love feels like fire works going off inside of you. Like it doesn't even matter if the universe explodes because you got to have this feeling for just one minute, and all the bad that ever was has been made fair.
>>
>>12576213
This. Is a bit like what Beren says in the Sillmarillion, about how the whole universe is beautiful because, even if it were to be erased the next second, it allowed something like Luthien to exist.

Exactly. Everything that mattered before is consumed in the fire and made pure. Blind discord resolves itself into the fundamental drone of the universe - the word that was spoken without beginning or end. The body, mind, soul, and spirit are condensed to a single point, and concentrated in a singular passion. Love, my friends, is the squaring of the circle, five and six made one, and the power of the very universe being created.

I need to fall in love again if only for the sake of my writing. The memory is strong enough I can still pull from it, and that distance is itself sometimes a source of inspiration. It's only that the things that came in to my mind to say to her were always better than anything I ever wrote.

i just want to be vulnerable for and sweet towards a girl. my whole life has been cold anger and irony. i always have my defenses up, even to my family. i just want someone to fall apart in front of to show all my pent up passion to. maybe noone wants that. maybe it's a sickeness.

I have a physical representation of her that i can hug and talk to, i spend time doing that every day. I also create things in her image, mostly art, sometimes i write or just let her inspire me to do something.
All of that makes me feel very close to her, i feel like she really is with me in some way.

what is the difference between love and a crush?
>>
I feel you dude, love is amazing. Never thought my gf would also be my best friend but that’s how it is at this point, I feel like I never left the honeymoon phase and we’ve been together for over 3 years now. Promiscuity was never an interest for me, but now I can’t even look at other women the way I look at her. I can’t read all the vile misogynistic posts on here without thinking “they’re only like this because they don’t have what I have.” I’m even eating healthier and quit smoking. My life is incalculably better thanks to her, if she never came into my life I’d probably have killed myself by now
>>
>>12585060
How did you meet her? I would love a relationship like that but have no idea how to attain it. Do you happen to have similar interests like literature and arts?
>>
>>12585099
We went to the same secondary school except she was in the year below me. We knew about each other but didn’t really interact for like 5-6 years until we went on a school trip to Cambodia together and got on like a house on fire. I’m interested in literature but she’s incredibly dyslexic, but she’s an art student so we would organise trips to galleries with other people and then act surprised when no on except us showed up (because really we hadn’t actually invited anyone else at all). We broke it off for a couple of years while I went to uni only after dating a month or so, but when I found out she was moving to my city we got straight back into it and have been together ever since. Can’t tell ya how much this woman has come to define my life man, love really is the catastrophic event or fall that turns your life upside down.
>>
>>12585148
I know a feel similar to that my man. I've been with my gf for a good few months and the hug she gave me when she read a poem I wrote for her nearly melted me. It truly is a beautiful thing when someone encourages your interests and loves them with you.
