I'm trans and started HRT at 18 a few months ago. I've kept it a secret from my parents and I'm leaving home in a few weeks for university, so I thought I'd never have to come out. When I left the house yesterday, my parents looked through my things and saw a box of cypro. They don't know what they are but they're freaking out that I'm taking pills, but I managed to convince them I'd write a letter explaining it (I'm too autistic to talk to them in person). What do I write? How do I convince them I'm not a crazy person? Do I tell them the truth, or can I make up some other reason for taking pills?

You've for some unknown medical reason got an enlarged prostate and take cypro to keep yourself healthy.
If you feel safe coming out, you should probably do that instead. If there's any worry they will kick you out / screw you financially, don't until you're independent.
