The online pharmacy list:
inhousepharmacy.vu has been popular in the US.
eu-aibolit.com is a reliable site that ships to a lot of places. Good for EU anons. They list shipping rates for the UK, Canada, and US among others so I guess they ship there. http://eu-aibolit.com/content/15-usloviya-dostavki
shesalady.co.uk reportedly ships to Canada. You need to email the site operator to order. In the EU shipping times of two weeks have been reported. Email contact@shesalady.co.uk to order.
unitedpharmacies-uk.md seems to work for the UK.
There's also unitedpharmacies.md (US-centric) and unitedpharmacies.nl (Netherlands-centric)
alldaychemist.com is another.
http://lena.kiev.ua/ev/ has become popular for injections.
Less reliable/untested/poorly tested sites:
https://inhome-health.com/ seems iffy so consider them a last resort. Messed up orders have been reported. They are said to ship to Canada.
http://fast-pharmacy.com/product/Evista.html has raloxifene and some other meds but is expensive.
Possible source of a reasonably priced GnRH agonist: http://cherrypharmacy.com/product/buserelin-nasal-spray-analog-suprecur-suprefact-nasal-buserelin-acetate-150-mcgdose-180-doses/
https://amazon4health.com/ - expensive, no bica.
https://shape-shifters-eu.netlify.com has some satisfied customers.
I saw www.buyonlineventolin.com mentioned in a thread but I have know idea if they're reliable or not.

My doctor just told me that my E was too high (800pmol/L) because it isn't in the EU regulations range, which is something like 350 to 750 pmol/L.

Her solution to this is to halve my dosage. Given my last few blood tests with various dosages, halving it now would probably put me at about 400pmol/L.

Is this the part where I go on DIY injections? I thought if I could stay at 800 then going with the legit route would be safer and more reliable long term, but if I'm getting shoved down to 400 then what am I even supposed to do? Is there even an option?

I've asked the doctor so many times to let me do monotherapy and that's apparently a no-go. So are injections. I'm still baffled that 800 is too high.
>>
How do I keep patches on the entire week? At least one of them always gets a fold that lets shower water in, is there something I can put over them? Should I take some the sublingual E I still have when one or two of them come off too soon?
>>
I've been on Finasteride for 6 months, but hrt for 2.

I've got 2 weeks supply of Fina left, but I take cypro as my AA. Should I restock on Fina, or am I ok to just stop Fina when it comes to an end?
>>
>>12676573
Yes. That's WPATH ranges and it'll make you a hon. 250 pg/mL before next dose or BTFO.
>>
>>12676632
Injections it is then. Still terrified of injections and I'm very pain sensitive, but it really doesn't look like I've got any other option.

At least I'm a late transitioner and I'm already a twinkhon though. Is that a bright side?

Also need to get sperm samples in 3 weeks so I'm going off HRT until then, this is extremely stressful.
>>
>>12676710
Huh

If you like use 24-25 ga needles after you got over the anxiety it makes you wonder if nurses do it wrong because it is relatively painless.
>>
threadly reminder that spiro and pills are both for hons
>>
>>12676738
I just mailed lena to try and figure out what to do. Anxiety or not, I can't keep doing things the legit way.

Where can I get needles? I have no clue about needles and injections in general so I don't really know what to look for. I've been told to find a needle exchange in my city but there doesn't seem to be one. Lena site says to use insulin syringes, can those just be bought online or something? I'd assume they're one-time use... But one every 2 weeks is probably not too expensive I guess.

Damn I wish healthcare was less regulated. I wish I could just go to the hospital where I get blood tests and ask the nurse "Hey teach me how to do that" and they could just say okay. I guess with fewer regulations I could also just keep doing legit transdermal and be fine too. But fuck it, this is where we are now.
>>
How do patches work? Like what's a suitable dosage and how does showering work with them on?

My doctor doesn't understand the difference between peak and trough levels. She also doesn't understand the difference between applying transdermal medication to the arm, and to the scrotum (despite me explaining it every time we've talked).

Regardless of how unreliable the internet is, the doctor is not worthwhile.

>>
>>12677129
>Really scary if true. Sure it's not just a misunderstanding?
I really hope so, but I'm not sure. I asked her a few times about trough levels and she basically ignored the questions, and she's never told me, for example, when I should get tests. I once told her that I'd taken sublingual pills before coming to the appointment, and she said it's fine and that I should get a blood test immediately anyway. I don't think she knows.

>So give her the information she needs as a professional? If you can find any that is, I only find some papers about scrotal testosterone and E isn't testosterone.
I compiled a few different papers about it and showed her several meetings ago. It's true, only one of them was for E (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dteNhG9wewvNX5zj0YcXrVAuQFZdtcqWmUWVvgI5uKs/view), and the rest were for T. I discussed this with her, thinking she'd be like "Wow this is great, we should test this and see if it works because it'll save so much money" but she just said "Okay try it if you want". And she seems to have forgotten about it now.

I talked with her this morning and she said "You're very sensitive to the medication so that's good", despite my levels being horrible on her recommended dosage prior to scrotal application (I was at 250pmol/L on 3mg), showing that I'm actually quite unreceptive to E. On pills, I had to take 6mg sublingual to get 600pmol/L. This is not "very sensitive to the medication".

But of course, she doesn't remember or care about any of that, so she thinks that the scrotal application's success is just due to me being an estrogen sponge. Despite me reminding her literally. LITERALLY. Every time we discuss my blood tests.

I get that I'm just one patient out of about 500, but this is still unacceptable to me. I'm going back on DIY.

Any reason for saying 23G? I'm new to needles but as far as I can tell, bigger gauge = thinner needle? In my mind, thinner needle means less pain, but I guess that's not necessarily true.

Based on what I can see at my pharmacy, my choices for syringes are mostly 29G with a few that don't say what they are. The 29G ones are 12.7mm, which should be fine.

Can anyone vouch for HRTs efficacy in preventing hair loss etc? I am fairly sure I am not experiencing hair loss, actually having some slight growth I think, but it is something deeply concerning for me and making me very stressed and upset
>>
>>12677699
I am on cypro.... so I think I'll just take the last of the finasteride and then when I run out, I run out. I have like 2 weeks left anyway.
>>12677676
I got a bit of shock hair loss when I first started finasteride, but that lasted a week for me, and the hair just grew back. Overall, I my hair has improved from the balding I did have. It's still not perfect/where I want it to be, but I understand it takes time. The area which is thinner is now a lot smaller, so I'm optimistic for more progress.
>>

I'll just go with the 29G then, since that's easiest to get.

Patches will give you 1 pg/ml for each 1ug. 100ug patch should give around 100pg/ml levels.

Anyone tried 1mg injection for not so high levels?
>>
>>12677955
>>12676826
not 100% true, usually it does that, but for me a single 100ug patch = gives me 68pg/ml E2 levels, and the scrotal meme doesn't work for me, so I have to wear 3 at a time.

make sure to always test your blood

I don't think I have other options in my city. She's the specialist trans stuff doctor, separate from other doctors. My current plan is to switch to DIY injections, and try to convince my regular doctor to give me blood tests every once in a while.

My previous regular doctor had no clue about trans stuff, but I told him I needed blood tests, and what to test for, and he was like uh okay and signed me up for one. Haven't met the new one yet (I moved recently), but hopefully she'll do the same.

What do you mean scrotal doesn't work for you? Are you sure you're applying them correctly? I'm just curious because scrotal has worked great for me (200->800pmol/L same dose), and I'm interested to learn what might cause it to fail.
>>
>>12678263
>What do you mean scrotal doesn't work for you? Are you sure you're applying them correctly? I'm just curious because scrotal has worked great for me (200->800pmol/L same dose), and I'm interested to learn what might cause it to fail.

I don't know. I plucked the area of application, exfoliated it, cleaned it with alcohol, dried it with a clean sheet, applied the patch while the skin was stretched as much as possible and then held it down it with tegaderm, and it gave me the same levels as before, Feels bad gang.

The only thing I think that could've caused it to fail was that there wasn't much space on my scrotum so I had to use the same area with only a 3.5 day break, but I was cleaning the area vigorously so it shouldn't have been a problem, right?

Scrotal patches work because the area on scrotal skin is supposed to be thiner than most other skin on the body, I guess my scrotal skin could be unusually thick or something.

An alternative to microneedling that I would've tried had I not moved onto injection would've been microneedling of application to increase bloodflow, some anon here said it worked amazingly for her.

That sucks. I don't know much about patches, but I use a transdermal spray on my scrotum and it works without any of that cleaning or stretching. I just put it on and it works. I don't think using the same area repeatedly should be a problem. I use the same spot twice a day with my stuff and it's fine.

I wonder if it's the stretching that could have caused the problem. Like, maybe stretching the skin too much makes it less receptive to E... I dunno.
>>
>>12678486
>maybe stretching the skin too much makes it less receptive to E... I dunno.

I don't know, the skin doesn't look scarred, and I strech the skin to get as much surface area as possible.

She would get her info from compiled guidelines since a lot of clinical research never actually makes it into common practice.

Yeah, it's not obvious, but Lena's (and my brew too) uses castor oil, which is considerably thicker in consistency. Now Lena's use ethyl oleate, where I use benzyl benzoate instead, so I don't know the actual viscosity for Lena's brew, but in my experience, I would desire just a size or two up because it takes forever to administer. Then again I use 5 mL syringes which is not optimal when you only administer 0.6 mL.

Also, 23 ga (at least from the folks over /r/steroids says), is pretty safe to not fragment the vial's rubber stopper.

Higher gauge will cause the oil to flow slowly, and combined with large syringe it could be a pain to administer.

There is no proof that high E2 levels lead to more rapid feminization. There is however proof that when E levels are too high breast growth is stunted. A big reason why lots of tranners are itty bitty titty is because they have the "ogaa bogga more is better" mindset

>>12676632
Retard.
250 pg\ml is the peak E level that the average cis female reaches during ovulation. It only spikes this high for 3 to 4 days.

The average range people should aim for is 300 too 500 pmol/L of E2.
>>
>>12682715
>There is however proof that when E levels are too high breast growth is stunted.
There's only anecdotal evidence for that.

It doesn't explain why cis females that take ethinyl estradiol in BC get breast growth (35ug of EE is essentially 3.5mg oral E2). So they have massive estrogen levels and can get breast growth long past puberty ends.
>>
>>12682715
There's this doctor who has the name of Dr. Will Powers. He said to mainain 250 pg/ml at all times.

I'm curious of which dose is actually the optimal dose. Too bad I'm not a clinical doctor or a researcher.
>>
>>12682715
>There is no proof that high E2 levels lead to more rapid feminization.
This is not the only reason to aim for high E. All the easily obtainable AAs are bad for their own reasons, and E monotherapy lets you not need them. I'm also 2 years into HRT on hon levels so it's not like I'm interested in "rapid feminization".

>>12682894
I'm pretty sure you can find a doctor that'll confirm any "fact" at this point. I can easily find doctors that say 100pg/mL is perfectly acceptable, and I'm sure there are some who advise above 300pg/mL for monotherapy reasons.

Medical science is hard. Different people require different things. It's too early in the field of tranny science to say for sure about any of this stuff.

Scrotal E looks very effective but maybe it causes cancer. We can't know until people try it for decades with observation. Maybe high E causes breast cancer or some other problems. Maybe it doesn't. We're all just trying our best to figure out what works, at this point it's mostly tiny sample sizes or anecdotes.
>>
>>12682715

The research I've seen seems to indicate that the reason breasts so seldom fill out completely is that they cycle isn't actually mimicked; its a dual wave of progesterone and estradiol out of phase, and mimicking that cycle would bring superior results.
>>
why is injecting in belly fat meant to be better than in the deltoid?
>>
>>12683066
Links? Most breast growth occurs during puberty, before estrogen/progesterone levels start cycling. I'm pretty sure inadequate breast development is mainly due to people transitioning after puberty, which means the size of an AMAB's skeleton will be larger (causing the breast tissue to be more spread out), and levels of HGH/IGF-1 will be substantially lower.

if breast growth is 'stunted' does this mean it happens slower or just will never happen after? from what ive read in this thread my e is too high so im gonna cut down to a 50 ug patch..

I hope lena's magic injections will save me still

wait... you levels were too high, you reduced and they went to high?
so now you want injections which give you mostly high levels?

>>12684876
OH sorry. I fucked up.

They went too low after I reduced the dosage. Like literally from 1700 on 200ug to 170 on 150ug. I upped back to 200 again but no idea what levels are now since am between blood tests. But my boobs arent doing anything at all.

I want injections both for better levels and because sometimes people report getting better results on injections even with same levels.
>>
im also confused because I keep reading lower levels are better but injections definitely give you days of high estrogen, but they're supposed to be better

Is 0.44ml EEn every 2 weeks safe? The peak level with that dosage sounds like it would be very very high. Would smaller doses every week or 10 days be safer?

>Is 100mg a good dosage?

Some get by with 100mcg, most need 200mcg, I needed 300mcg, it depends on your skin.

Look up Opsite Flexifit or Tegaderm, they super thin adhesive adhesive "stickers" that hold them to your skin.

Hello, does anyone know whether crushing E for sublingual decreases its efficacy? Medical websites keep telling me crushing pills can alter the way they work, but none of them explain why.

I've been taking estrofem 6mg sublingually for a while and getting good results, but each pill takes 30-40mins to fully dissolve, which I can't see myself doing for the rest of my life. I live in the UK so no injectable estrogen here AFAIK.

Thank you for any help or links to info! <3
>>
>>12686642
What all changed in you from the 2.5 months of hormones?
>>
>>12688251
Here's why. sometimes a pill is coated to alter the way they release into the bloodstream. by crushing them, you destroy the pill and whatever release mechanism in place, and instead you will get a short spike instead. (also crushing them=bigger surface area Efficiency wise it doesn't really mattery, but it changes the release pattern
>>
>>12688251
multiple layers of pill + longer duration of absorption.
if you crush it,you get all of the pill at once, which gives a different affect than intended
>>
>>12688251
I chew my pills and I've had way better results than trying to dissolve it fully intact.
Coatings are designed to alter intestinal absorption so it shouldn't be a big deal. As far as estrogen goes it does not degrade in stomach acids so the coating really doesn't matter anyway.

AA block testosterone and depending on the AA, prevents testosterone production. Testosterone masculinizes you and prevents estrogen from working properly, so AAs stop you from masculinzing and allows the E to work

E does everyhing, from making your skin softer, to giving your boobs to causing fat redistrubtion

In some cases just taking an AA is enough to cause some of these changes, but usally much less potent and slower than if you take an E as well.

>>12697857
I heard someone say that sprio gives you clear skin, no idea why though, as far as I know all AAs reduce testosterone would therefore make faces less oily and therefore more clear. It certainly doesn't help with fat redistribution either given that it promotes fat to build up on the belly

is raloxifene actually E or does it just act like it and if it isn't really E, will it stave off the negative effects of bica monotherapy that are usually remedied with real E?
Could I use a small dosage of topical E along with ralox + bica and still avoid breast growth?
If I used a small amount of E would I still risk getting mpb and what type of drug is Finnasteride?
Might it be better to apply a small dose of topical T to my breasts and a larger amount of E to my scrotum along with an AA in order to get feminine features without breast growth?

Syringe question.

I'm a bit underweight and my arms are twigs. I want to inject into the deltoid. My muscles are tiny and I'm afraid I might miss the muscle by either not going deep enough, or going straight through it. I'm planning to get 12.7mm needle length syringes.

So my questions are, how do I know if I'm hitting the muscle properly? And can happen if I miss and inject either too shallow or too deep?
>>
>>12712376
No telling. If you're not used to stab yourself, you can't appreciate the difference of resistance then the needle starts piercing the muscle.

Advice: get 1" 23g needles, inject properly.

how often should one do deep microneedling (1.75mm)? once a week? once every 2 weeks?
>>
>>12713140
The deeper you go the less frequent you should do it. For 1.75mm you should only be doing it every 3 weeks at most.
Peak cell regrowth will occur some time between 2 to 3 weeks so doing it too often will interrupt that process and cause inflammation.
>>

>>
>>12713276
Yeah I know a lot do it every week but I'm honestly not sure why that study did it so frequently.
Every single other study on microneedling does it far less frequently to avoid scarring and inflammation. There's no benefit to doing it more frequently, only higher health risks
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5556180/

I've been way too scared to do it weekly. When I microneedle scars on other body parts the redness takes 3-4 weeks to disappear so I highly doubt a week is enough time for proper healing even if the redness disappears.
>>
>>12713336
Needling for improving skin and removing scars should use slightly different mechanisms than doing it for hair growth? Minor scar tissue wouldn't be a problem as long as new follicles are created/reawakened.
I do it every two weeks myself with topical iodine to avoid inflammation.
>>
>>12713420
There was no actual reason presented in that study why every week was used. They just did it with no explanation.
I'd rather follow studies that actually provided explanations as to why they chose the interval they did. I can't imagine inflammation and scarring is good for hair growth. I do it every 3 weeks but I also use salicylic acid in between microneedlings.

How can I tell if my hairline is growing back or jus to receding faster?
>>
>>12717275
By 3 months into treatment you should see babyhairs (small white/translucent hairs aka 'vellus' hairs) growing on the hairline. Sometimes it happens sooner but 3 months is a good average to start to see the beginning of results. Sheds are very common and are actually a good sign for regrowth, so whatever you're experiencing may not be receding but a pre-regrowth shed. If you are actually still receding after being on HRT for a while with decent levels, either A) you have really shitty genetics or B) it's not androgenic alopecia and HRT wouldn't help you anyway.

Hey guys! Hair loss question:

I’m 28 and have been on HRT for almost exactly one year. I started out with really bad hair loss (like Norwood 4), but Ive been doing as much as possible to try to make it grow back (I’m on finasteride, 2x weekly dutasteride, minoxidil, ketoconazole, microneedling, biotin, progesterone, estradiol valerate injections, and my T levels have consistently measured 20-30ng/dL from the very start). Over the past year, I’ve recovered to roughly a Norwood 2.
However, over the past few weeks I suddenly had a huge amount of shedding, with hair clogging my shower drain basically every time I take a shower for the past week or two. I’ve also, inexplicably, noticed the area on the back of my head that formerly contained a small bald patch has suddenly thinned out a lot again. Is this just a shedding phase from minoxidil or something? It kind of freaks me out desu. Luckily I dont pass anyway and I boymode, but it obviously still causes me a shitton of distress. I could have sworn that the area was thicker before, and i’m worried that it’ll just stay thin again now or something, or that itll just continue to get worse for no apparent reason. Is something like this likely to be a temporary shed, or am I in trouble? ;__;

If you've googled the topic you've probably seen my story on hairlosstalk (from NW5 to NW1.5) and I will say that as long as you haven't changed anything in your regimen or been slacking too much, a big shed like that is almost always a good sign... I had many sheds over the period I was recovering and the only times it resulted in sustained loss was when I would drop treatments under the assumption they weren't helping when they actually were.

If you can afford it I would highly recommend dropping finasteride and just taking dut 0.5mg every day. This ensures that if you have any T left over from HRT and it converts to DHT, that the DHT is taken care of. What a lot of people here/in general don't take into account is androgen sensitivity... a cis girl with 50ng/dL T could potentially suffer from more aggressive androgenic alopecia than a cis male with 400ng/dL T simply due to the androgen sensitivity of that individual's hair follicle. Going the nuclear option ensures the highest chance of regrowth.

keep in mind that timeline isn't complete, it doesn't show where i ended up nor does it show where i started... it looks like too good to be true because it is, no one gets those results in a month (improvement from June to July is crazy) from baseline. I had originally started treating the hairloss in Dec 2014 with minox/fin and then started HRT in Feb 2015, dropped minox in March-April under the assumption it wasn't helping and got a rude awakening in May-June when all the minox hair fell out. It only looks like I got such good results so quickly because that was it recovering from that shed.

this is basically where hair results peaked. i've had a bumpy ride for a couple years since those pics so it has thinned out a bit but i've kept most of it despite being unable to take HRT consistently for about 1.5 years and becoming too depressed to do my minoxidil etc every day (prob more like every other day, sometimes only 2-3 times a week). it's coming back now that i've been back on hormones for like a bit less than 2 months and consistent in my treatments again.

Is the tiredness you feel on cypro just cause of the low T or is it a side effect?
>>
>>12699127
Sounds like a based grandpa :(
>>
>>12715986
I was going to order Ukrainian meme juice but reading this post alone was enough to make me feel dizzy thinking about doing that.

Isn't there any other way to get injection-tier results without stabbing myself?
>>
>>12723142
Eh it's not that bad, go for it I guess.
>>
>>12722118
What was your AA? Did you ever get PSA tested to see how well your AR was suppressed or only T/Free T/DHT tests?
>>
>>12722964
cypro is a sedative.
>>
>>12723264
So would that make it a good alternative to dutasteride if I have an anxiety disorder which the dut aggravates?
>>
>>12723264

*For treating hair loss
That is my primary objective; I plan to boymode but I'm willing to accept boobs and sexual side effects to restore my hair line.
>>
Just a quick question, I am on Cypro, but is it OK for me to drink one or two beer per month? What is acceptable levels?
>>
>>12723339
ymmv. i'm 1 year hrt and i binge drink on the regular (3-6 nights a week). so far my blood tests haven't shown anything wrong and i have no symptoms of liver damage.
>>
>get physical today for the first time in about a deade
>height reads 5'7"
>the last time I got my height tested, I was 5'10"
Am I getting gaslighted or something? I thought shrinking after hormones was just a hon meme
>>
>>12723961
I heard HRT can make your spine slightly more curved, which results in a shorter height, but I don't think there are any studies on it.

Who here takes provera?
>>
>>12720613
Sounds like you may have hit a nerve?
>>
>>12717986
Why not? From what I’ve read intramuscular injections of a sufficient dose work. I’ve been doing monotherapy for 2.5 weeks and morning/random erections are pretty much gone already
>>
>>12703197
close, palestine
>>
>>12705809
if you transition late and/or have bad genes you can't expect much to happen anyway so even injections aren't going to do shit
>>
>>12705808
if it was true sublingual would provide the best results, because it is the method that spikes levels the most and still has a relatively low trough
>>
>>12712954
if you're underage and going through puberty yea
>>
>>12717237
go E2 monotherapy
>>
whats the difference between applying the patch to below the waistline and the arm? contraceptive patches can be worn on the arm but not patches with just the hormones. why is that?
>>
>>12720360
any method with a sufficient dose, although high doses of oral E will impair GH/IGF-1 production and thus may lead to worse/slow breast development

>>12720464
no

>>12720552
happens to me most of the time. wipe it away with an alcohol wipe

>>12724701
E2 monotherapy works from the start don't worry
>>
>>12725169
Can I really do E monotherapy with subq injections?

I'm getting tested in a couple days but I'm really scared my prolactin is going to be high and I have a tumor or something, maybe a smaller dose of cypro? I don't want to masculinize at all so I'm nervous of trying mono.

The lactation keeps happening

how do i get rid of or deal with brain fog i thought it would go away when i started hrt but if anything it's worse???
i did have iron deficiency anemia a couple of weeks ago but i think i don't anymore

I switched to these sryinges with a thorn. Trying to take 7mg, Using 40 mg/ml of Estradiol Valerate I take 0.2ml every 5 days.
50 mg of bicalutamide every day.
Blood results are in: 6 hours after trough
>E2 410 pg/ml
>Testosterone 34 ng/dl
Doctor office calls and tells me I need to cut my E2 in half and lower my dosage to 5mg.
Now my Testosterone was abnormally high before HRT, wouldn't these numbers be GOOD since my testosterone is suppressed??
>>
>>12676424
Is having 798.0 mIU/l prolactin while on cypro bad?
>>
>>12726201
Hes recommending that because if your E at its lowest point is 410, it must be absolutely massive at its peak
>>
>>12726201
too high for a trough, probably 250 pg/ml
>>
>>12726234
Which is also 37.506 ng/mL for ease
From what I'm reading online it says it's slightly above normal levels but I had the blood tests taken about 12 hours after taking my last dose of cypro instead of 24 and I'm thinking it may not be that bad. Any help?
>>
>>12726246
wouldn't my testosterone shoot up?
>>
>>12717334
A) and B) both aren't scientifically[TM] proven. Hairloss is complex.
>>
If I struck a nerve from my last injection does that mean if have to do the injection again or something? Idk if I even truly did, it just hurt a bit in the injection and ached a lot all over right after it, but now just feels a bit awkward
>>
Lena describrs standard detachable needles as having “dead space” that wastes .092ml or solution. If doing the standard .18ml EV dosage she recommends, are we supposed to compensate by adding an additional .092ml?
>>
>>12726276
No because a lot of time spent is more than 250 pg/mL
>>
>>12726472
I don't understand what you are saying.
>>
>>12726497
The majority of your level will be superhigh anyways since your trough is already pretty high.
>>
Hello, does anyone know if it's ok to mix estrofem with progynova? E.g. 4mg estrofem & 2mg progy daily?

My estrofem order is stuck at UK Customs and I only have a few days of my last batch left, so I'm wondering if I can stretch it out with some old progynova pills I have from my old regimen.

Thanks for any advice!
>>
>>12726340
Pain and aching sometimes happens with injections and is normal. You don’t need to redo the injection.
>>
Does anyone know if caffeine reduces the effect of estradiol? I've read it reduces estrogen levels in white cis women but I can't find info on how that applies to hrt in trans women...
>>
>>12725152
What does that have to do with what I'm talking about?
>>
>>12683071
Less health risks if your technique sucks or you're using contamintated product, easier, and less annoying blood vessels everywhere
>>
>>12684665
Too high E damaging breasts is a hon meme. It isn't based on anything in reality. Your estrone - estradiol ratio and IGF-1 are what's most important for breast growth. Breasts never "fuse", they will keep on growing forever as long as your body contains the right chemicals. Keep in mind that the larger your breasts are, the less they'll appear to grow. Also, the larger your chest, the smaller they'll appear to be.
>>
>>12726719
I'd like to know this as well since I drink lots of coffee...
>>
>>12726595
Even if I did actually got a nerve? Okay thanks anon, it's good to know I didn't mess up haha
>>
>>12723339
tranny doses are so low, it hardly impacts your liver function
liver toxicity has only been reported with dosages of around 300mg daily
>>
>>12726971
Even if you did pass through a nerve, the nerve doesn’t somehow negate the injection. It’s no big deal it just hurts more.
>>
>>12726822
Then what about stalling? Doesn't the breast buds go away after some time? The growth of terminal end buds stops when it makes across the fat pads, I don't know if the fat pads can be enlarged though.
>>
>>12726883
It decreases aromatase (which is important for conversion in tissues), or it makes more of the enzimes that metabolize estradiol. Can't remember right.
>>
>>12727090
I don't know why you deleted this, but getting colder easier is pretty common on HRT, theories include the thinning of certain layers of skin and a lowered metabolism
>>
>>12727259
>>12727090
also blood getting thicker on E, which may play a role in coldness
>>
>>12726301
Hair loss is complex and realistically if you are losing hair despite being on a cocktail of regrowth drugs, HRT and strong 5ar inhibitors then odds are high it is not androgenic alopecia (male pattern baldness). Much more likely to be another form of alopecia if those things are not helping, and no that's not a scientific diagnosis but it is a strong likelihood nonetheless. If somehow I'm wrong about that, and it is actually androgenic alopecia and that strong ass cocktail of good hair growth factors isn't enough to combat it, then I'm sorry but your hair genetics suck lmao and I say that as someone who started balding at like 15 and was NW5 by 20. I would expect the cocktail of drugs that person is taking to at the VERY least halt further loss in 99%+ of AGA sufferers.
>>
>>12727259
>>12727264

I did some searching and found out it was called "cold flashes" I know about those too.
>>
Is E monotherapy dangerous? They say high E in men is really dangerous for tons of issues like hair loss, prostate health, depression, etc.
>>
>>12728188
Not really.

You can have up to 80 pg/mL E and at least 175+ng/dL T and nothing will happen. If you are going to up to target range for females you need to hit ovulation, pregnancy levels 400-500+ pg/mL E to keep everything stable because you don't have a menstrual cycle. This will shut down the FSH LH feedback loop and your testicles will stop producing hormones. Be careful how much estradiol you take, because the higher the estradiol dose, the higher the risk for breast cancer. Bio-identical hormones are the safest. Have a good doctor to go to for blood tests and check ups.

>hair loss, prostate health

The lack of testosterone to DHT conversion prevents hair loss. Estrogen monotherapy is used to treat prostate cancer.

>depression

Only if hormone levels aren't stabilized enough causing mood swings and lethargy.

Is 8mg IM EV every 5 days a hon dose?
>>
My doctor is starting me on 25mg Spiro/4mg E. Based on everything I'm reading, this isn't a very big starting AA dose. Just want to make sure I'm not gonna fuck everything up.
>>
>>12729418
25 mg spironolactone will do nothing to your T and T will wreck every E you take.
>>
How much ralox do I need to take a day or a week, its asburdly expensive.
>>
>>12729606
Depends, add more if the suppression isn't adequate.
>>
>>12729599
Aight. At least it's just a starting dose. I have an appointment in a month where I can ask her to up it.
>>
>>12729616
starting specifics? 30mg a day? 20? 60?
>>

60. Ralox are expensive, I know.
>>
>>12729720
how long do I need to take it?
>>
>>12729766
Like, as long as you take E, which is like

forever?

Then again I was blessed/cursed with flat chest so I haven't taken any in 6 months and it haven't grown since.

I have a lot of them unused on the drawer, but I kind of like uh, it's made from Chinese powder.

oh fuck, I cant afford that shit, im barely able to convince myself to buy hrt.

hi um i was taking cypro 50mg sublingually evryday for past 7 months since i startd hrt but i currently dont have money to get more and ill have to start taking the spiro im prescribed since cypro's not fda approved.. will this be bad for my transition? should i take spiro sublingually¿

pls help
>>
>>12730191
half the cypro instea

take it for some time and drop it to a quarter if T is still nuked, test again to confirm the results. Do not change to spiro.

Also cypro is taken orally, not sublingually. The correct answer is you take Estrofem sublingually.
>>
Is there no point for GnRH Analogues since cypro can be split into quarters and still be effective?
>>
How far into hrt should I take progesterone?

I'm 10mo in and asked my doc about it since my boobs are big but oddly shaped. She told me trans people will never get normal looking boobs and she doubts it'd help but she prescribed me 100mg anyway and told me to let her know how it goes
>>
>>12730993
Oh also is it an issue that I already take cypro too since I'm told it's kind of a progestogen
>>
I'm taking 2mg of e everyday orally and i want to switch to sublingual. Do i just take the whole 2mg at one or do i split it and take one in the morning and one at night?
also i'm getting my dose upped in a week
>>
>>12731413
*at once
>>
>>12731413
You would split it 12 hours apart
>>
>>12731489
will do, thanks

A few questions about the bica+ralox+finnasteride/dutasteride regiment for feminization with limited breast growth.
1. Is raloxifene technically E? If not, what exactly is it?
2. I know both raloxifene and Bica will increase T, sending my T essentially though the roof so does finnasteride/dutasteride lower that T aren't they AA's.
3. Could I not add a small amount of topical E per day to reduce my T and still get little breast growth?
Thank you
>>
>>12731557
does cypro stunt growth too if it's used early in transition?

My doc started me on 200mg spiro and 6mg estradiol today.
How fucked am I?
>>
>>12731927
not fucked at all, that's actually a pretty high dosage to start with
>>
>>12732032
That's kind of what I meant. Too much of it can be kind of a bad thing, can't it?
>>
>>12732068
you could take 4mg for a while and then go up to 6 if you think it's too much
i read somewhere that it's kinda bad for breast growth but that could be wrong. ask the doc
>>
Should I take all 100mg of Spiro in the morning or split it and take 50 in the morning and the rest later? I worry that the time for the later doses wouldn't be consistent.

Just ordered 2 vials of Lena's EV... hoping I don't regret it.

I'm a 32C tanner IV so I should be fine then :)

Starting injections soon and E monotherapy sounds spooky so what weekly dose should I take to go along with 12.5mg Cypro daily?
