which was better?
>>

PPSh with stick mags.
>usable rpm?
>never heard of her!

Who won the war?
>t. Not a Russiaboo

>small arms decide world wars
>>

MP40 - reliable, accurate, cheap, not advisable beyond 100m
PPSH - cumbersome, not as reliable (before somebody fags out at me, drum mags were discarded in later versions and the SH43), massive firepower, heavy as fuck, expensive, better ballistics with the 7,62x25 at 150-200m

All in all, I'd go with the MP40

butterflies can bring ricebags to fall, or whatever sensei shit that was

so why the fuck shouldn't small arms decide world wars
>>
>>40252968
The Vietnamese and the sandjigaboos in Afghanistan defeated world superpowers with literally space age-technology weaponry
>>
>>40252982
>If I wanted to fight an live or pick up on the field
MP40
>If I had production numbers to meet and supply a huge army
PPSH41
>>
>>40252960
Both had problems with their magazines but the PPSH did have a higher rate of fire so better for CQC.
>>40252968
>posted as I copy almost everything or let captured Germans do everything for me
Literally the most stupid argument.

Excuse me, plebs! Best girl coming through
>>
>>40252998
Because home field advantage and the superpowers refused to go full mongol and salt the fields and commit mass genocide.
>>
>>40252982
Look mommy a moron!
PPSH is not only lighter than mp40 (empty), it is as much accurate, cheaper to manufacture and far more reliable and rugged. It is almost the same size as unfolded MP40. The only real advantages of MP40 forty are all arguable: folding stock, lower ROF and better bullet.
>>
there's a reason krauts would use the ppsh themselves
>>
>>40254297
Kindly stop being a lazy uneducated fucknugget that knows guns from Call of Duty
>>
>>40254140
Crushes opposition with massive force. Got to love it.
>>
>>40254313
because they captured them in giant numbers?
they even captured the fucking factories that produced them
Germans in WW2 used everything they got their hand on, even Renault FTs from WW1

wrong, the ppsh41 had massive bottlenecks and was dropped for the ppsh43 (a stamped simple gun like the mp40) for production reasons
>>
>>40252968
Had nothing to do with small arms, id still say the ppsh is better though
>>
>>40254490
Not to mention an entire aircraft squadron that operated captured planes
>>
>>40252960
PPSH, heck of a shotgun.

Well uh, the MP40 has 40 in it. So that means it's shooting 40S&W. So it's the better gun. It matches my Glock 40.
>>
>>40254740
*siiiiiiiiiip
>>
>>40252960
Which one was replaced with basically the other gun?
>>
>>40252960
Neither, the PPS-43 was better than both. But if we’re only to compare the two then the MP40, as it had far less reliability issues than the PPSh and the drum mags were absolute garbage, as well as having a folding stock.
>>
>>40254313
lots of dead russians to pick them up from?
>>
>>40252960
for fighting? idk man.

Looks wise? Damn I love me that PPSh
>>
Pps-43 is better than either of those don't @ me
>>
>>40254412
>>40254552
Ohhh, you didn't even seen either one IRL? Poor things.
The mp40 weights ~4.0kg empty, ~4.65kg with mag
The ppsh41 weights ~3,6kg empty ~4,3kg with stick and ~5,45kg with drum.
Go ahead weight yours ill wait, little poorlings.

*Ahem*
>takes MP40 mags
>better and more advanced than the sten
>extremely reliable
>captured MP40s can be used to make the stocks, etc.

An insurgent's dream.
>>
>>40252996
Because SMGs like the ones listed and small arms in general are only a chunk of all weapons used by a nations military in war
>>
>>40252960
>>40254140
>A German SMG versus an American produced .45 shotgun
Idk boys I think the smg will won even though it’s one of those nazi guns that I don’t allow in my store. In any case the shotgun has a drum barrel which my wife’s son says is dangerous. So even though it’s a heck of a shotgun it still loses

Wouldve been glorious, but impractical and wouldve had to have like their whole air force defending them

MP40 for having useable RPM and less retarded ejection port.
