I'm looking for some headphones to use at my new job. My only two criteria is that they aren't complete shit and that they don't leak sound so I don't disturb any coworkers.
I know the obvious thing would be to get IEM's, but I've tried both foam and silicone tips and they just get really uncomfortable after about 15 minutes or so. I have sensitive ears with a lot of earwax though, so it's definitely on me and not on the IEM's.

I have a "les paul" which arrived in beautiful condition, and was very playable out of the box, no need for a set up.

The electronics are fairly cheap though, but thats not a problem for a bedroom player like me. also, no cavity shielding so you'll need some sticky foil or graphite paint if you want a crackle free experience.

If you want something similar but with an actual warranty, buy a harley benton branded guitar from thomann in germany. They aren't direct copies but feel like the real thing. also, shipping is more reliable, 7-10 days to US/CAN

You can get decent electric guitar from name brands for pretty cheap nowadays, if it's your first guitar I wouldn't gamble, even though most chink guitars end up okay. As for the guitar itself, just browse and find one that tickles your pickle.
On thomann, they have sections: ST type= stratocaster style (these tend to be the cheapest)
single cut= les paul style
These tend to be quite heavy, especially if made from mohagany.
double cut= SG or PRS style.

The harley bentons are roughly on a par with cheap ESP and epiphone models, but are built with nicer woods

I spent about $850 for the fully optioned i7/32gb model, so it made a lot of sense
previous owner only put 15 hours of runtime on the ssd
Also I like the thermal layout better, repasted it and it idles at like 32c
performance is nice, will put a second sata eventually. Had some irritating bluescreen issues centered around chipset drivers being outdated and freezing when plugging it back in to charge. Other than that it's been solid. speakers are nice, it runs everything I play fine, and battery life seems to be around 6.5-8 hrs.

Also no frame flex when picking it up by a front corner with it open, very solid.

I have one variant of these, since Xiaomi seem to release the same headset under different names.

Been using them for 4 months so far. They are pretty good for the price, sound quality is alright and reminds me of the old Xiaomi pistons 2 i had ages ago. Build quality isn't the best but they will hold and they fit rather well and don't fall off while running nor do they move around too much.

Battery life is okay and they last me through a day or two of mild playback, since they don't come with the largest battery. (I'm a bit spoiled since my WH-H900N do 40~ hours)

Squire Bullet Mustang is not a bad guitar by any means, and just get Boss Katana 50 amp to go with it. As for Harley Bentons, the Black Paisley strat or telecaster are cheap and look fabulous, but you can also go for one of the Hollow bodies or PRS copies which are a bit more expensive but are also higher quality instruments. Get everything off Thomann anyway, it's cheaper than Amazon.de and they inspect and setup the guitars they sell, all of them, or you can send them back/get refunds.
I bought a Squire Bullet Mustang recently and I love it because I like Archy (King Krule) and Kurt Cobain, but my next guitar would probably be Squire Vintage Modified 70's Stratocaster or a Harley Benton Telecaster/Hollow Body (ES335 copy). Don't get a cheap epiphone, they're shit - especially Les Paul special II.

Oh and you'll also need a guitar strap, you can get cheap plastic straplocks (Dunlop/Daddario), a capo, a tuner, and a cover/gig bag. Thomann has combos for a lot of guitars that cover some of these items, also get some cleaning fluid/oil too. Haven't used a Pacifica myself but I'd strongly recommend a Squire/Ibanez/Harley Benton instead.
