Howdy /fit/, recently got into meal prepping my work lunches as a way to save money/eat healthier. Pic related is some teriyaki chicken, white rice and broccoli that I’ve been making the last week. Are there any other healthy meals I should look into trying out?

Stick with red meat and introduce more important sources of carbs like sweet potatoes, carrots, peppers, leafy greens. White rice is a good fuel source if you are big into power lifting or something, but you need to cover your nutritional needs first.

The one meal I can remember when I meal prepped years ago was a kind of Mexican breakfast bowl. I think it had chorizo, scrambled eggs, potatoes, cilantro, salsa, and some other stuff I don't remember.

I like to make some rice, beans, and some ground beef or turkey with taco seasoning. Just don't go too heavy on the rice or beans because the carbs add up quick.Add some cheese, salsa, guac, sour cream, lettuce, whatever you like. Super simple and cheap.
