I started cutting in January and am down from 220 to 194lbs. My lifts have increased where I'm at 310lb bench, 510lb deadlift, 205 OHP, and 350lb squat. My issue is that I have to run for my job and I noticed that my lifts for OHP and Squat are slowly going down. For instance, I do 5/3/1 and I was supposed to do 190lbs x 5 for OHP but I could only do it 4 times. Squat has also been an issue for me. I have been taking creatine and glutamine to increase recovery but is there anything else I can take sans steroids to make my weight increase?

I was thinking about changing my accessory lift from Leg Press 10x5 to Squats 10x5 but I'm not sure which weight. Also, start doing sitting DB press to help my OHP. (I typically do dumbbell press twice a week)

Any suggestions or is this legit?

Having read through your op and some of the responses, I think you need to have a talk with her. She has abandonment issues and is afraid of losing you like you guys did your mother. You need to explain to her in a very loving and nice way that you need to be able to spend time on your own to go out to work a job for you guys, and to lift because it’s something you enjoy. Tell her she’s welcome to do cardio or lift with you while you lift, it will probably get her closer to resolving these issues because starting exercise clears our heads and stabilizes is emotionally, but will also be getting her out of the house.

You should also save money and get a second bed or a pullout couch asap, sleeping in the same bed is only going to strengthen whatever over-attachment/abandonment issues she has.
