there's a mutation where DHT acts as a "stop growing" signal for your hair follicles, so as soon as DHT levels get high enough at the very end of endocrine puberty (mid 20s to early thirties) they go bald.
>>
>>49561520
That’s the age when it starts to go. It’s probably gonna happen to you too

Recent studies show that balding, much like weak jawlines are more common in industrialized nations due to mouthbreathing and soft mushy food. Because weak face muscles cause the scalp muscles to tense up (imagine anterior pelvic tilt on your head) and over time this ends up weakening the hair follicles and causing hairloss:

https://tmdocclusion.com/2018/07/14/more-on-hair-loss/

This is a much more coherent explanation than the outdated elevated DHT theory (lowering DHT can solve a bit of the hairloss in a roundabout way... but you're fucking with your body's chemicals to achieve this). It makes much more sense because elevated DHT and by extension testosterone in general leads to manly and youthful traits... aggression, big dick, muscle mass, low fat... all of these are identified as such. While being bald is seen as wimpy and old. I really wish assblasted chromedome loserheads would stop trying to bluepill balding men.
>>
>>49561820
imagine being able to mog people at the age of 60+. How lovely it would be.
>>
>>49562012
So what are some neck stretches I can do to promote healthy bloodflow to my galaea?
>>
>>49562012
This makes sense. The mouthbreathing menace just became exponentially worse.
Still, I do believe test is related. Also, most people who grow beards earlier tend to get bald earlier too.

Some of this theory is based off of bad science. For starters they are operating under the assumption,
>The incidence of Male Pattern Baldness increases with age. However, serum testosterone production declines with aging, together with lower serum DHT
This isn't actually true. In healthy men, T levels do not decline with age. Men who are older frequently are fat and out of shape and this is the cause of decline, not age.
https://www.maturitas.org/article/S0378-5122(18)30424-9/fulltext

And regardless even if this were true the decline in DHT levels would like be insignificant in terms of treating MPB. 5ar inhibitors like finasteride reduce DHT levels by 70% and this is far greater reduction than those seen in the average oldfag.

You go bald or you don't. My dad was bald by 40. I have at least presentable but noticeable thinning hair. My older brother didn't go bald at all but has my grandma's genes or something because he doesn't have our body type. ...that or my mom was good friends with the milk man.

it's just genetics bro.

If you've got MPB, you've got mpb, your follicles just deactivate over time, has nothing to do with diet, anything.

I'm 21 and Nw2, moving into NW3 with pretty heavy thinning. so likely I'm headed for nw6+

I've dealt with it relatively well, I was a very pretty boy growing up. It's been a complete and utter destruction of my identity. But also I'm stronger and more masculine now, so it doesn't matter as much. I've got long hair, it's not really not noticable

It's definitely put my overall happiness at a -3.

Only way to recover and have good hair after MPB - Transplant the temples, wear a hair piece over the top

sad reality, 10-20k usd, and weekly shaving your head and hair piece maintenance.

not ideal, but the best option there is. Not that you can't go bald, I have no issue with bald people, I think they can be signifigantly more attractive then haired guys, but for me personally being more of a pretty boy type hair is important.
>>
>>49569475
"Just take saw palmetto"

you're a moron who doesn't understand hair loss.

There is no solution, there's no fix. If your receptors are shutting off and closing down, your receptors are shutting off and closing down. There's no miracle pill that counter-acts your genetics.

All of the symptom relief, all of the "hair thickening products", all of these things are fucking bullshit. Sure, they have a little 20-30% increase and slowing down of your balding rate, but guess what happens the second you stop taking them? all of that progress reverts. The only thing that "works" in finasteride, and that's all over the board in terms of results, it could not do fuck for you and doesn't for most men, it couldd make your dick stop working, or it could magically make all of your hair come back, completely depends on you individually.

But yeah. The whole "Just take" this shows how incredibly naive, hopeful, and pathetic you are. It's laughable. You're fucked and you don't even know it yet.

It's a chronic condition. Know what that means? It means you're going to slowly lose all of your hair from now to the day you die, and theres no stopping it.

Buckle in

I started balding at 15 very slowly and now at 23 I still have an alright hairline. It was a hard hurdle to overcome at that age being in school - I thought I was going to be completely bald by the end of school but luckily that didn't happen.

I don't care anymore about it because I look alright with shaved hair and I focus more on my body. It still intrigues me why so many young guys go bald. My grandfather has the same recession pattern as me though he still has a great hairline in his 90's. My father is worse than him and I suspect me and my brother will be even worse. I don't think it is all genetic - perhaps the pattern is but the severity or rate of loss must be related to something in the diet of modern people. If I had to take a shot in the dark I would say there is a problem with halogens in the diet. By that I mean a lack of iodine in comparison to the great amounts of bromide, fluoride and chloride. The japanese never got hair loss and they are the biggest conusmers of iodine (some 100x our consumption and up to 300x a few generations ago) due to their consumption of iodine rich kelps.

I say there is a reason for everything - we don't know what it is yet and so all we can say is genetics which I think is just a lazy answer.

Maybe, just maybe, some shit genes get shittier each generation.
>>
>>49573944
Perhaps but then why didn't this happen a long time ago and why isn't everyone bald already? At the current rate that would be true.
>>
The increased abstract psychological stress as opposed to physical and material stress brought on by industrial civilization has contributed to the balding and poor health of der amerifat.

There are hundreds of genes involved in hair loss, so the absence of some would mean some get better hair genes and more of those genes would mean some get worse hair genes than their immediate family.

Do you have anything to back up your claim that people are going bald younger?

>Do you have anything to back up your claim that people are going bald younger?

The men in my family are getting worse per generation. Look around - loads of young men are balding. Perhaps it has always been like this but it seems very prevalent at the moment.

Every scientific proposition is a theory. There is no such thing as scientific facts
>>
>>49574157
I don't see it and there are sources that state that most men don't go bald after 60. Only exceptions to this are Singapore and some European countries like Germany and the Czech Republic.

They said some. You may have shit genes but the ones that get passed down are the woman's who may or may not have them.

You do realize there are many different combos of genes right

Everything is based on probability

Wrong. A theory in science is a working model with predictive capabilities. Theories are based on facts. Facts and laws are used to construct theories. Colloquially, the word theory is often used interchangeably with the word hypothesis, which doesn't do justice to the immense amount of evidence that goes in to the construction of a scientific theory.

>never really think about it before 4ch
>check old photos
>I’ve been like this since high school

Pre-Socratics by Oxford World Classics, then Plato : Complete Works and Aristotle : Complete Works Vol. 1-2 after Plato. Good luck.

This is actually pretty good theory. Only thing is that this doesn´t offer any solution besides relieving muscles basically from waist upwards.

Of course there are still the basic treatments for the symptom of hair loss, not to the actual cause.
