>100g of pure fat has 900 kcal.
>1 Kg of human fat has 7700 kcal.
>If I eat 1 Kg of fat, I'll gain 1,11 Kg.

Cool physics.

Guess you could say that human fat isn't pure fat, then?
Who knew?

Actually jogged my noggin. Anyone have an answer? It might be a self-evident answer, but im retarded

Human fat isn't pure?
It's really not that hard to figure out.

So assuming TDEE = 0, would eating 1 Kg of pure fat (and nothing else) not result in a gain of 1,11 Kg of body fat?
>>
>>49106135
Human fat contains a ton of impurities, and not to mention structures for actually holding the fat in place.
>>
>>49106408
no, fat still has a thermic effect even though it is very very small
>>
>>49106283
>>49106431
But isnt fat the most calorie dense substance? Is human fat a substance that has more calories than 9 per gram?
>>
>>49106408
how can you gain more weight than you consume?
>>
>>49106464
What? From the OP it'd be the exact opposite.

>>49106478
I mean if you put it like that then it doesn't sound that weird. Humans in generally don't only eat, we also drink and breathe. Unless you want to say that we can gain weight only from consuming food, then it realistically doesn't seem to make much sense as it isn't the only factor in play.

Jesus Christ, come on guys.
Your body does not absorb 100% of the energy you intake in your food.

You'll shit most of it out, in fact even the (rather small) percentage of energy it does absorb is stored with all kinds of other shit so you have less kcal and more weight in your fat cells.
>>
>>49106001
Human fat is probably also stored with either water or other things, if you eat 1 kg of pure fat and nothing else and don't drink water, and assuming TDEE=0 and you don't poop or pee, you'll gain less than 1 kg, but you'll be more dehydrated.

Fat isn’t as dense retard, it has a lot of water in it for example

If you were dehydrated as fuck but somehow didn’t burn your fat it would have more kcal per kg
