What do you genuinely enjoy doing? What do you do for fun?
being out in nature rock climbing lifting is boring after a while better to be physical in a more meanfingful way
>>48643466nothingI pick up new hobbies and activities every so often to keep myself busy and distracted from the perpetual ennui
>>48643466>Installing parts on my project car but I don't like buying the parts. >Practicing guitar recently>Making myself stronger by going to the gym>Learning new things from podcasts>Walking through nature trails>Being useful to my friends by being a consistent source of good advice or counsel.>Driving around listening to music I likeTheres more too
>>48643529is this real?
>>48643466I guess I could kill myself but I can also just keep living my life and wait out the clock and either way it's going to be over before I know it so who cares you know.IDK, at this point everything I enjoy has either stopped being fun or turned into a compulsion that's about as fun as any other necessary chore.
>>48643466Other than lifting weights I masturbate and shitpost. I also make sure to get my 4 hours of sleep. Haha life is good.
>>48643466I like liftingI like sleepingI don't like preparing my food or eating itI don't like filling my water bottle or drinking from itEverything else I hate
>>48643538no, it's a kink thing. She has a harness on under her clothes, she payed them like $500 each to "gang rape" her and "hang" her, but it's all simulated for her enjoyment. After this they probably do after care and she tips them.
Feeling useful and embraced by a girl, at least I think I'd like it.
Lifting, sometimes. I like being with friends, but I don't have many and I don't see them often. Overwatch is fun for me for an hour or two at a time. Most of my fun things are distractions from life. I don't think I feel genuine happiness very often
>>48643576i don't like that i believe this

>>48643534>>48643536How do you claim to enjoy the guitar when it hurts your fingers? And it’s just not fun when learning? Like yeah ok maybe if you know how to play it it’s fun but why does everyone on fit lie and claim they enjoy this shit just because it will make you better in the future? It’s not fun now admit it
>>48643638What can I say. She appreciates their hard work. You can see the special attention to deets
I enjoy being in nature far away from everyone else. Last year I climbed a mountain and the view was amazing. One of the best feelings in my life, nothing came close to it. Wish I could have stayed up there forever and forget about this shitty human civilization
>>48643656>How do you claim to enjoy the guitar when it hurts your fingers? Two options: play a nylon string ("classical") acoustic guitar, or stop being a little bitch. The former is the patrician choice, btw.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r21WDZ4-eUI

>>48643656??? i've been playing for 10 years and when im not working out or studying, i just pick up my guitar and play to relax. just because you're a pussy brainlet with girl hands doesn't mean others can't enjoy it

I enjoy traditional SFX model building and the movie ALIEN. In the process of making a kind of love letter to that movie in the same vein. I LOVE building things that look rusty and worn-out. I also work on cars too.
>>48643745*crack*>yep, i'll tell ya zoom zoom, an older woman, a real woman like that knows how to do it right. she'll give you the lay of a liftime.*ssips*
>>48643466I enjoy lifting, video games, manga and anime. I also do these things for fun.
>>48643466I play old school runescape, cook, and watch YouTube videos.
>>48643466Fly fishing and throwing stones at protestants.
>>48643656>>48643686Just ignore the OP from now on. Just FYI he makes this thread at least once a week just to wallow in self pity.

>>48643466honestly only video games i genuinely enjoy, but takes up too much time to actually enjoy them. Boxing, Climbing is fun and so is the shooting range once in a while

>>48643466Genuinely... get lost in taught. I live close to some trails out in a forest, usually walk them with my headphones on. I was somewhat unsure about my faith in God until I finally gave into him. Now when I walk the forest and look at the complexity of life... it is just utterly beautiful.
not much other than meditating and lifting

>>48645468Ok,now this is epic, you can't use spoilers on this board?
>>48643484Agreed. Climbing is a workout for body and mind together. You get to meet a lot of very chilled out people who are mostly fucked up deep down, but find a release in climbing.

>>48643466Nothing, browsing the internet and/or shitposting combined with video games are very mild boredom killers for bits of time, drugs and/or alcohol help to numb me for a bit and alcohol makes socializing easierAll I live for is to become the chad to end all chads and get infinite hot wet tight silky soft pussy from cute thicc white girls who can deepthroat and make me cum from blowjobs alone, I gotta get buff and transfer to a party college town, being there + using tinder while buff will make me be finally at peace

>>48646363What's your research?
>>48646363>picked up asoiaf starter recentlyDon't bother. I made it to the third book until I couldn't take the fat hacks awful writing and pointless plot threads. If you want enjoyable fantasy shit, try the Witcher series, that's some fun and relaxing reading.
>>48643529WtfShe needs to have some self respect god damn
Literally nothing. I think I might actually be an NPC. I have no talents, no interests, no social skills, no friends.

Vidya, lift, fucking, reading about lifting, watch anime, I’ll start reading novels after finals.

>>48648981Build a professional profile. Find a line of work you care about and work towards becoming great at it.
>>48649001What if you have zero passion or interest in anything?
MusicVidyaLifting especially, I spend upwards of 3.5 hours in the gym during power sessionsSketchingCooking
>>48649037Look around, find something you care about. If you masturbate all the time, stop. If you don’t lift at least 3 times a week and jog at least 2 times a week, start. If you have low test fix it, low test absolutely destroyed my passion for any and everything for a year.Look around at different fields. Walk around. What kinds of things do you enjoy? Do you enjoy fitness? Be a personal trainer (a real one being one at a commercial gym is ass). Do you marvel at time square? Look into advertisement or electronics (depending on what part you’re interested in). Sometimes your passion isn’t easy to find and it might not be one of the first 20 things you look at and you might not expect it to be that, but you’ll find it anon. I spent years thinking I was going to be a personal trainer or S&C coach, after taking a mandatory writing class at Uni I figured out I want to be an engineer and now I’m more interested in my studies than ever. You’re going to make it anon
>>48649130I have a healthy fap schedule, still dyel but making slow gains. How do you fix low test? I'm not trying to sound like a fag or emo when I say I get no enjoyment from anything. Even stuff I used to like as a kid like ice skating and video games and fishing are just boring.
I work in cyber security for a company (AKA a white-hat hacker, if you will) and I spend my time outside of the office writing code and creating websites for extra cash. It's pretty lucrative as I've created numerous websites for companies and entrepreneurs and usually draw within $10k - $15k extra a month. It's easy to charge this because unlike a standard web dev that does mostly front-end stuff, I can implement basic security measures on the back side and charge a premium. Not bad for being a high school dropout with a GED.
>>48649164Test may not even be an issue with you, but ways to make sure to maximize natural test is to lift heavy, eat at least fairly healthy, and get enough sleep. Those seem like hobbies that a lot of people grow out of so don’t try and think there’s anything wrong with you for losing Interest in those. And something you’re interested in or enjoy may not even be a hobby. It may be out of your comfort zone. It may just be a subject or something you see, maybe you dont exactly derive joy from it but it interests you. I took a tech writing class and started frequently reading articles from futurism dot com. It would likely be something different for you. I can’t tell you exactly where to find it but try to look deeper into things that catch your eye or make you think for a moment. You may not find it soon so don’t worry, but from a formerly suicidal depressed 19 y/o (I’m 20 now) I found that everything including my outlook on life changed when I found that thing for me. I might still be years away from truly reaching my career but as long as the sense of fulfillment, achievement, and eagerness to continue to grow and progress are there I’d say you’re on the right path. Don’t be afraid to be developing in your 20s, a lot of guys who stopped developing themselves at 18 end up peaking at 25 and end up on a downhill slope the rest of their life. Keep climbing up anon
>>48649245Thanks for the kind words. I'm 20 too and been /r9k/ tier for 6 years (but I did stop visiting that shitshow a year ago) and still not recovered. Still feels like I need to rush to make up for lost time but the aforementioned problems keep coming up. Family hates me now too for dropping out and it's just tough.
>>48643466The only thing that I enjoy in life is playing soccer. Everything else is absolute shit.
>>48649189That’s the beauty in having a skill, it doesn’t always require your standard list of oft useless educational accomplishments. Good job anon
>>48643503I am the same way. Always trying new stuff to see if I ever enjoy anything. Now I just have a huge list of talents and skills that I find no joy in just like everything else. My dad always said he spent all his time trying to find a way to escape boredom. I get it. Nothing excites me. I hate it.
>>48649282Good job being able to escape that pit. Wanting to rush is normal, our society is fast paced and everyone wants to be as good as possible as quick as possible, but not everyone can be rich and famous at 18 like we see online. I want to rush too, I’m probably not going to graduate until I’m 23-24 due to switching majors when I was originally going to graduate at 21. Thinking about that gives me the anxiety and annoying feelings of “my peers are already doing x, y, and z but I’m still in school” but gotta take a deep breath and look at the end game, look at the long run.I’m sorry to hear about your family situation though. If you don’t mind me asking did you drop out of HS or college? Because imo dropping out of a degree you don’t know you want and avoiding debt you don’t need is nothing to be ashamed of.. but people can’t always tell that’s it looking from the outside
>>48649332Dropped out of uni after a year. I actually liked my major but couldn't cope with the extra credits and work needed since I'm brainlet/unmotivated. Don't think I will go back since I've always deeply hated essays and the like.
i enjoy mashing rats and eating them. rats are easy to find and easy to mash, after all.
>>48649358Uni isn’t for everyone. But like >>48649189 showed you don’t always need a standard education. At the end of the day it’s often more about ability than pieces of paper to put on the wall What major were you looking into?
>>48649425Major was environmental science. /out/ was another hobby as a kid and I still liked learning about ecosystems and animals. (although the enjoyment is much less than when I was little) But not worth 4 years of school. Trades are looking like a good option (and I have connections in a few) but I also have no clue where to start and have limited drive to learn about that too. Sorry if I'm acting like a whiny fag/loser.
I have a brick of carving wax that I’ve softened with parrafin wax. I use it to carve small miniatures of myself. I then make a silicon mold and cast small pewter replicas of me that I toss out my window while driving over the bridge to my workplace in order pierce other people’s tires
>>48649488There’s ways to go about that. My brother is an environmental science major. You could always look into being a park ranger or wildlife management (since you’re on /fit/ ranger might not be too bad) you get to make sure the ecosystems are properly taken care of and I hear rangers get pretty good gyms in the right places. There’s of course a lot of different angles to it, but it seems like a fulfilling field that leaves a good impact. I don’t know too much about the different paths you could take but I’ve talked to my brother about it and it seems like a good field:It’s often hard to know where to start, the first step is the hardest, it typically starts to flow well after that though. You’d only be a whinefag if you were one of those “getting out of bed and eating anything other than mommy’s tendies is too hard” you seem to genuinely want to better yourself and are willing to do so, so I wouldn’t call you a whinefag or loser
>>48649604thanks again anon. good luck in your future endeavours.
I have no passion in my life.
>>48643656It's exactly the same as the calluses on your palms getting stronger from handling bars at the gym. They get stronger over time (few months of consistency is all it really takes)
>>48649189>an EXTRA 10-15k a month
>>48643466i like to draw and then imagine myself going to the gym or doing push ups at home but then i actually dont do it like a boss
>>48643466I collect vinyl records and write/play music. It's really fun for me and people love talking to me about both for some reason but it does make me genuinely happy.
