Anybody have experience with Snicebomb Eau Fraiche? I really like the OG and am still wearing it in March... Does Eau Fraiche translate nicely into Spring/Summer?
>>14170619>>14170602For me, it's Fahrenheit.
reeee i like calvin klein escape reee
What are some top tier Asian fragrances? I guess Japanese houses maybe China.
Incels on this Board may not like it but eros Flame is the ultimate SEX fragrance. Chad isn’t bothered by smelling synthetic or like a teen. Witze 12 1/2 spritzes on his test-induced balding forehead and one under his foreskin he projects the miasma for miles and miles winter as well as summer. BTW he never wears deo as his sweat is pure pheromone.
Just copped this lads, very happy, it's fucking amazing. Now let's see if the longevity is good (but it's a steal either way)
>>14170667For me, it's Centigrade
>>14170781Zara's Sauvage clone is very good too. Scent 2 or 4, can't remember which.
>>14170792I tested lots of them, recognized some, but From Paris to New York really caught my attention, everyone on fragrantica is saying it's a clone of Dior Homme Cologne, which is true I guess, but it also reminded me of Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Universalis Forte (the sample for which cost me as much as the full Zara bottle lel), and the longevity on Zara might even be better.I also got myself Zara Rich-Warm-Addictive which is a nice warm scent, and at this price point I honestly don't care if I'm gonna grow tired of it or whatever, this shit is so much better than copping 200$ bottles I have to say.
This general is scuffed.
>>14170602Hey OP, you should add in the frompyrgos blog into the OP. It's an invaluable resource for fougeres and masculines, learned a lot from there. He also talked about GIT and Cary Grant 9 years ago.
I am officially out of line with my fragrance collection.>bleu de chanel>ck free>tuscan leather>burberry beat>creed aventus>boss bottled>green irish tweed>the one>acqua di gio>burberry brit>le male>ultra male>bvlgari man>sauvageThe thing is I can't stop,I was like this with watches and sneakers.
>>14170871Congrats bro, you got all the entry level designer and masstige frags that are trending on Youtube. Enjoy!
>>14170876I would fight back but you are 100% right. I just have this urge to collect things,as a child I had massive yugioh and pokemon cards collection and the thrill of the hunt was the thing that excited me. Same with watches, sneakers and lately fragrances. Also I like online shopping and unlike clothes, fragrances and watches always fit.
>>14170883The thing is though, all of those are just "choices." The problem with all of these mass appealing designer fragrances is that they all literally overlap in not only functionality but also lineage. You got GIT, but you also got Acqua di Gio, Bleu de chanel, aventus, and Sauvage, all of which not only follow the same lineage (by influence and aromachemical technology), but also do the exact same thing: fresh, clean, woody and diffusive. Then you got Le Male, Ultra Male, The One, Boss Bottled, Burberry Brit, all of which also do the exact same thing: sweet/spicy, oriental, evening wear. You could keep just one from each category and your collection would be much improved and less cluttered.

Whats the consensus on this?
Pour moi? C'est Cool Water.

>>14170771There aren’t many. Could check out Di Ser, they’re based in Hokkaido and make some very interesting scents. I own Tsuki and Kazehikaru, personally. Both are quite snice. Luckyscent also has a new Japanese brand called J-scent that looks interesting. Might be worth sampling.
>>14170993Oh yeah sorry
I own a bottle of Burberry Brit Rhythm Intense and it's a nice frag and all but I feel it's a frag I only tend to wear when I'm in the mood.I'd love a cosy autumn to spring frag casually, something I can go light in in September, then add an extra spray or two to cut through the cold and my layered clothing.I've tried London and I'm still undecided on getting a bottle, it feels nice but are there better frags like it? I loved the cosiness of it a ton when I tried it back in December...
>>14170817This general is BASED.
Blindly bought pic related, did i do good? What am i expecting?
>>14170947Based that others understand Cool Water correctly. Next is Kouros which shares that same aesthetic too
>>14171181Is it a risky blind buy? Looking for a freshie for work
>>14171181Yeah you did, it's a great scent, mild and cosy.
>>14171057Try CH Men Prive for something similar with a little more attitude.
>>14170883I can relate I have about 60-70 bottles of frags Dozens of decants and about 60-70 pairs of shoes
>>14170619Based and egoistepilled
>>14170990Eerily similar set up. Based.
>>14171181Pretty comfy and high quality scent. It's very unique and smells of fresh clothes. It's a perfect everyday scent imoEven if you don't like iris in particular this one pulls it off real well
>>14171181Almost blind bought it but decided to get a sample, turned out it's way too sweet in the drydown for me, I definitely expected something else from the scent people describe as "fresh, clean office scent". Glad I didn't get it in the end. But it works for most people desu.
>>14170902based masculinity in a flask. i'm proud that gucci let morillas run this one through. i feel they let him make something he himself would wear and said fuck the customer base or designer trend. i got a decant from sephora and when the sa sprayed it in the vial she made a face and said, "omg that's so strong lol" i looked at her and said, "yea that's right". copped me a 5oz bottle for winter when i feel like not giving a fuck and cupping my balls through my jeans while grocery shopping.
>>14170817Don't worry anon we still have /good posters/ like >>14170996, I've seen some good posts within the memes in past threads>>14170990>having a sculpture instead of just having it on your MDCI bottlespleb
I get the feeling something super sweet and fruity like Eros or Ultra Male will be a contrast and offset this instagram goth like fit I'm planning, but I don't want to be obnoxious with the smell. Is 2 sprays on the chest an ok amount for UM? Tried Eros and I'd rather have something other than that is all.
>>14171587Man, I love those MDCI bottles, but I just can’t justify spending an extra 100.00 on a little resin bust. Maybe one day FragranceBuy will get some of the bottles with the bust in stock one day...
>>14170871This is a good list, but you seem to be over doing it--this is not healthy. 5-6 frags is all you need, same with sneakers. Learn to force yourself to save money in case of raining days. Sell some of those to gain some money back and put it on high yield savings account
Got my hands on a sample today. Bit of a let down but thats just because I was expecting something different. Very floral. Floral as fuck. Not necessarily a bad thing but I was hoping it would have been more balanced. Not as fruity as I would have hoped, light citrus. I was really hoping for a more tropical fruit note, a little banana that was done so well in bat should have been here. I do like that it interestingly has that "salty sun kissed skin" note. It really does smell like I was at the beach earlier today. A little woody but I wouldnt call this woody at all. I have never smelled beach hut, but beach hut is a suiting name for this fragrance. Definitely leans feminine but a a guy could pull this off in summer somewhere warm. Spring/Summer fragrance. Im trying Dodo tomorrow so standby for a reviewtldr: Floral, semi sweet, citrus.
>>14172189I forgot to mention it is a little soapy and powdery. But I guess that comes with the territory of a strong floral. Really good floral notes if thats your thing. High quality
>>14172189>>14172198I have a bottle coming (Dodo as well), should be here sometime next week. Actually sounds like exactly what I wanted. Some tropical fruit, but not so much that it smells like I’m wearing sunscreen, exotic florals, and that salty, sun-touched beach skin smell. Plus, I just love Zoologist’s bottles and artwork.
>>14172205 It makes sense though. Emulating a chameleon up in the trees catching the breeze. You wont be disappointed then. I just wish there was a more prominent fruit note than just citrus. Mango and coconut are supposedly in there but I have had my nose to my skin for a while and cant pick it up. Maybe they are lending some of the "sweetness" in the background but note wise they are undetectable and I've got a pretty good nose
>>14171736I tried like 2-3 sprays with Eros and my mum said it was too much. Not sure what it’s like for ultra Male but that’s the one I’ll be getting soon.
>>14172223Im sure I sound really autistic but I'm just trying to give you guys the best review I can. I know there has been a lot of buzz about it.
>>14172223Depends a lot on your skin, too. Some notes just don’t come through as prominently on some people’s skin. Like, Fragrantica has several reviews saying it’s very tropical, sweet, and fruity. One person specifically mentions smelling banana.I guess it’s kinda like how when I’ve worn Aventus (several samples from different batches), I get almost no pineapple at all, even batches that are supposed to be super fruity. I can smell the pineapple on paper, but on my skin, nothing.
>>14171181Not joking, I actually disliked it a lot so imo it's still risky. It's just so fawking powdery on the drydown to an insane degree and the start is so weird and prickly. Prada Amber pour homme destroys it to me on all levels. I think I am in the 1% minority though.
Hey bros, I'm hopping on a plane to move to another country for a few months and want to bring my favorite fragMost airlines don't let you carry on liquids, and I've heard stories of frags literally evaporating in the depressurized places where the luggage is stored, so how do I bring my frag? I don't want to buy some cheap shot at the airport and use it for the next few months.Maybe there's some kind of pressurized container I can buy to put the bottle in?
Just picked this up today, in travel size. Liked it in store, but want to see how it lasts after the drydown before I pay full price. Any other recs for scents like this?>girl, but open to wearing colognes as long as they smell good
>>14172412I bring my Creed MI whenever I go to Amsterdam. Full bottle. Plus whatever frags I buy there fly home with me. Always put them in my checked bag. Never had a problem with evaporation. People who say that stuff are just autistic.Just make sure you pack your bottle well do it doesn’t break. Personally, I wrap it in paper towels, put it in a ziplock bag, and wrap the whole thing in a t shirt.
>>14172412I have taken a bottle like 10 times in my check in and I just wrap it in a towel. Never a problem with it breaking. Pressurization is a big stretch, like realistically nothing is going to change the smell enough to be noticeable. Just don't take spicebomb because it looks like a grenade.

>>14172412In 2013 I had a bottle of TF Black Orchid spill all over my favourite suitcase and clothes what a mess. Most frags are under 100ml so if you have room in your carry-on ziplock bag of liquids, I'd recommend just bringing it with you on board if you can. Otherwise I've had luck with bringing a few bottles (CDG Concrete/Margiela Untitled, a few Kilian travel sized) in checked bags in their original packaging. It takes up a bit of space but has protected the bottles pretty well>>14172420check out CB I Hate Perfume and the Margiela Replica collection

Has anyone had the chance to try out Pure XS Night?Thinking of copping a sample if it's the sort of scent I can wear on a date or casually round my gfs place when it gets cold
>>14172142I know this is not healthy and this will sound like a humble brag, but I am making a ton of money at a job I really hate so the only joy I have left in life is buying stuff.
>>14173228I worked for Polge for some time
>>14173309Well I have no job and no money, wanna swap?
>>14173351It's really a cliche but money doesn't make you happy. On the outside I seem like a rich douchebag but in reality I am always a bitch to people higher up than me and to the people that got me this job. I was on a dinner yesterday and my uncle (a super rich guy) was complaining about stupid and incompetent youth who need to be put in big companies because they can't do anything for themselves. He is the guy who literally forced me to take this job (he wants to be closer to the CEO and this way they have me as a topic) because I would be an idiot to turn down this opportunity. After I took it, all he does is shit on me.
>>14173353What’s a cliche?
>>14173353Money gives you freedom, freedom gives you the opportunity to make yourself happy. You only have yourself to blame.
>>14173382Maybe to children of rich people. When you earn it yourself you have to work hard and in my job I have to be constantly available. I have 4 hours of free time a day and an hour is spent in the gym and the rest is spent on eating and watching tv. On weekends I try to hang out with my friends. People talk about this freedom but what is that? Freedom to travel? Unlikely, because I have no time. Time is better than money, believe me.
>>14173353>>14173413I am a poorfag and this just comes off as trolling
>>14173413>invest your richfag money>quit job when passive income is stable>live off passive income>get a part time job you enjoy even if it doesn't earn much>do whatever you want with the rest of your time
>>14173433I am not trolling but how do I invest money? I have 13k saved this year and I don't know what to do with it.
>>14173436For starters give it to me. I’ll have everything arranged
>>14173436Dont tell me you're this guy >>14173353 right? 13k is nothing and nowhere near enough too live off. Buy some real estate and rent it out for example.
>>14170771Unfortunately due to the nature of the japanese people (allergic to basically anything), fragrances are not very popular. Apart from the well known houses like Issey Miyake, Kenzo, Comme des Garçons and Hanae Mori that have Japanese heritage there are few in land Japanese brands. The biggest has to be the cosmetics giant Shiseido and besides DI SER that the other anon mentioned I only know of Parfum Satori as being more niche or indie.>>14170774Is a better fragrance than Eros definitely>>14170902Smells like a dispensary. It's probably the most daring fragrance you are going to smell from any designers currently in the most common shops. This is definitely something you have to sample and wear before you decide to buy.>>14170920a great summer fragrance, cheap and timeless.>>14171057There's nothing that screams warm and cosy more than spices and tobacco. I would suggest the new Emporio Armani Stronger With You Intensely, Parfums de Marly Herod, Calvin Klein Obsession and Chanel's Egoiste. But of course Spicebomb Extreme is always an option.>>14171217If you like the powdery iris scent it is. It's not that in your face, but it can be too sweet for some. A fresher fragrance that goes in the same direction if Dunhill Icon.>>14171587based MDCI poster>>14171736I have absolutely no idea what instagram goth is but I always imagined Robert Smith is going to smell like lipstick and white powder. I think Prada's L'homme intense, Dior Homme Parfum and Valentino Uomo Intense would suit better.>>14173312that's actually cool! So you are in the fragrance industry?
PSA: the Slumberhouse store is back up. Currently, Grev, Sadanne, and P&O are available, with more coming in April. Josh has said he intends to have a seasonal rotation, so scents like Ore and Norne will be available during colder months, lighter scents during the spring/summer, and Kiste and Baque will be available year round.
What is the most genki of fragrances?
>>14173643Pear and olive literally smells like a garbage can
>>14173794Yeah, not a fan of that one, personally. I have and love Grev and Sadanne, though, and I’m looking forward to beating able to get Kiste, Norne, and possibly some of the new scents Josh said we’re coming later this year.
>>14173725Definitely Fico di Amalfi from that line.Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria and Un jardin sur line are definitely up there.
Last thread had a bit of Kurous discussion and I tried it today. How the f are you supposed to wear this without ending up on a registered sexoffender list?I get why it’s great and I feel an immense desire to buy it and put it on but I fear I would gross the majority of people out. I had the thought that only men could wear this that smelled like this naturally from fighting lions and fathering 200 children. Is there any chance to wear this in your 20s? I thought about layering a t with some kind of „clubbing“ fragrance because you would need something obnoxiously sweet intense or sticky to balance this out.
>>14173918man some of you cunts on here are the most dramatic fucks ever i swear.
I got samples of Kilian Black Phantom, Tom Ford Oud Minerale and Prada Infusion d'homme recently, absolutely love them and am going to get larger ones for more regular use.Took them on a work trip abroad and they went down a storm.
Has anyone tried this line from le couvent des minimes? I am looking to get some samples but there are very few reviews to find on it, they sound nice in theory though
>>14173918I haven’t had the chance to smell it yet but I suggest you not layer it with anything for it will stink even worse. That being said is it really that offensive? Can it be compared with Antaeus? Cause to me Antaeus is a totally normal frag desu.
>>14174254Bolder than antaeus but anon is overreacting and likely only used to cleaner modern scents
I am the anon who did the chameleon above. I got a sample of this as well among some Imaginary Author samples from lucky scent. But I digress.Dodo: Fougere. Major fern and fir blast. I have never smelled a real Fougere before and this blew me away. It is very potent. Strange but I cant stop smelling it, very inviting. Has a similar saltiness to the "sun kissed" I mentioned in chameleon but this is less playful and beachy, more just ambergis. You can notice the sandalwood but its not loud. I can also notice the citrus but I didnt pick up the rasberry (could be my skin). No idea what Litchi is supposed to smell like so I cant comment on that. Animalic for sure, you can tell there is musk. Some floral notes (Rose) but not even close to chameleon floral bomb.Overall I like it, Id wear it for sure. As with all zoologist you wear it for you not others. I cant think of an occasion to wear it but it smells like I ran through some strange island forest.
>>14174546Cool, sounds great. Looking forward to getting my bottles now.
I know Tam Dao is the hot meme here but what do you guys think of Oud Palao and Volutes? Just ordered a couple decants of the EDPs
>>14175024tam dao is legitimately good. haven't tried volutes but i copped oud palao last year and it's amazing. absolutely nuclear projection and longevity. the oud is a bit skanky at first but it smooths out and becomes beautiful. better than oud ispahan to me.
>>14172472>Just don't take spicebomb because it looks like a grenade.kek
>>14175612Get ultimate instead
>>14173918Dude it basically just smells like superlaundry, yes it has industrial aromachemicals in it which balance in a very epic way with themusky chypre base. If you’re that much of a pussy just spray once on your chest from like 2 feet away. I go 2 regular sprays, one on my chest and one on the back of the neck. I’m 26 and have only gotten positive (unsolicited) comments on it.
>>14174277>>14174254>>14175713Here, adding on more.Yes, people get very dramatic about Kouros nowadays, but it's always been a polarizing scent. If you go as far back as possible on basenotes or fragrantica, there are people saying it smells horrible (and it used to be even stronger than it is today!).With that being said, the modern formulation is almost tame in comparison and shares similarities with many other Pierre Bourdon fragrances. Yes it will smell harsh if you put a concentrated spray on one amount and then sniff it closely. The sillage and projection smell like fresh soap and ancient incense. It's that juxtaposition which makes it so interesting.
And one more caveat, here you will find people actually talking about piss:https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/O-Driu/Peety-20806.html
>>14172189>>14172198>>14172205>>14172223>>14172234Thanks for the detailed impressions anon. I was on the fence about Chameleon but it sounds like a good one.
>>14175024Volutes is amazing, probably my favourite tobacco scent.
Any recommendations for chypres for a mid 20 male? Want something classical and high quality. Maybe a bit of bitterness in the top note. Plus, it should be wearable in hot weather. Thanks guys!
>>14175887Antaeus by Chanel
>>14175024Honestly, pretty much everything from Diptyque is good.
I have the Abercrombie 2.5ml fragrance sample kit with Fierce, First instinct, Woods, Ellwood etc and I'm wondering if its worth it to take the kit with me to visit my gf?Since I'd have versatile scents and it'll be easier than taking a bottle of something in my luggage?
>>14175941Are you settled together? All good!If you came together just recently more than one scent is autistic as hell.I know a guy that took this girl for a first date at a parfume store. He made her stay 1 and a half hours. Needles to say they never went out again.
>>14175950Guess I'll bring my bottle of ADG Profumo and call it at that lol
>>14175950how many of you hide your obsession and collection from people, be honest.
I like Creed SMW and Amouage Reflection. I’m poor but like the „quality“ olfactory impression. Help me out plz
>>14176249Size up what price you're willing to pay for decants versus how often you'd use it?Like I'd wear Reflection dressed up for dinner or for a wedding in the summer so I can get by on a 4ml sample quite well
>>14176258Willing to pay about half of what the price of these luxury brands are. I like to go kinda heavy so a tester is not an option. To add: if the performance is good I’m willing to pay maybe 100 bucks per 100 ml if it’s worse and i have to reapply less
>>14176281Unless you're using 20 sprays a wear then a 5ml sample is more than enough for a good few wears. Hell even a 2ml sample is good.
>>14176249>>14176281Nothing else to do then. If you like the niche, luxury frags and you think a sample isn’t enough, the only thing you can do is save up and buy a bottle. Maybe you’ll get lucky and one of the great market sites will have a tester available.
If this song was a fragrance which would it be?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpFFQm-t2OM
>>14171181Love it, smells like fresh clothes in a spring mountain wind. Wear it on a bright day or in a professional environment.I pair this during the day with Kilian Black Phantom for an evening. Going from fresh powdery linen scent to woody, chocolate, vanilla rum scent on an evening feels great. Out of the office and into a smoky, wooden bar.

>>14177068Dude why did you do this? You could have gone to your local pharmacy and got a massive bottle of CW for like $20 and we would have been none the wiser...meme harder please
>>14176765It’s not bad, they make fairly snice, natural smelling scents. The problem is they market to hipsters with too much money, and their scents are far too expensive for what they are. If they were half the price, they’d be fantastic fragrances. As-is, they just aren’t worth the money.
Got my shipping notification from Luckyscent. My Dodo and Chameleon bottles should be here next week at some point. I’m hyped!
>>14176206I had an awkward moment at work recently, a woman told me that I always smell nice, but different. I proceeded to tell her that I have about 20 full size bottles of cologne and bunch more decants. She didnt seem phased, but I felt the need too explain that it's like aromatherapy for me...and it's ok because I don't have any other vices, I don't drink, I don't smoke and my wife likes it anyway. Totally sperged out.
>>14176206I talk to prostitutes about my frags. Not actually during the sex, of course, that would be weird. I think that answers your question.

>>14174546Please follow up on your IA samples. I got their Cape Heartache and its fucking based. I really want their Sundrunk for this summer and am considering St Julep for late spring. You write well and I look forward to hearing what you got.
Are there any sporty/fresh scents that can double up as a potential date night or evening out scent? The only ones off the top of my head are AHSEE or Platinum Egoiste
>>14178657Neroli Portofino or Laura Biagotti Roma Uomo maybe
I know that 1 Million Prive and Lucky are 1000x better than the original. But what about Cologne? It seems fresh and airy enough for me to wear it in the summer, but strong enough to be worn in the autumn too as a scent for now and then...Is it worth copping a sample just to see if it works for me, given I have a super shit selection of frags where I live?

Hoping the weather this summer is actually nice with some real hot days, so that I have an excuse to cop a crisp, light citrus freshie. In that regard, how do TdH Eau Tres Fraiche and Dior Homme Cologne stack up against one another?
>>14179221Why don't you try both of them and find out
>>14179228>if he asks for secondary opinion he must not have tried them

Thoughts on these? I sampled zagorsk and Avignon and love them. Zagorsk has a nice woody and slight incense smell to it while avignon is heavier on the incense

I'm going to get a decant of DHC and decide between that and BDC for my next work frag.Do I get the EDT, EDP or Parfum of BDC? I tried the EDP but am curious if getting the EDT for the longevity of the Parfum for the scent is a better option.
>>14179366Under shirt? What the fuck? I wish i had that kinda money to waste perfume like that

I revisited The Noir 29 yesterday, it still smells like a dry rub to me, but i was able to get whiffs of it throughout today, even after a thorough scrub in the shower. Pretty impressive.
Does anyone else become completely nose blind to fragrances after like, the first week? Every fragrance I try, I just can't smell it after wearing it for a little while.
Copped a sample of this and holy shit this lasts forever. Any other "bright" masculine scents that last long? Like 8 hours minimum.
>>14179956Every time. Ask yourself these two questions, brainlet:What is unscented deodorant? Why does almost every commercial deodorant contain scent?Armpits are an ideal place to apply fragrance provided you are hygienic. They are among the warmest places on your body, which helps your fragrance carry.
Wearing a clone of Amouage Reflection and it's pretty nice. Big fresh floral and woody, with a bit of aromatics. Haven't tried the original, but the Tuscan Leather, White Amber, and Black Saffron clones from the same place range from 85% to 100% copies. Check out oilperfumery if you in canada.
>>14179977We’ve been over this: if you haven’t smelled the original, don’t recommend the clone. It’s like giving a recommendation for a restaurant you haven’t eaten at.Also, shilling Arabian Oils was so 3 months ago. Get with the times.

Hey there two anons asked me continue my little reviews so I'll keep going I was the zoologist review guy who also got some IA samples. Specifically Cape heartache and Every Storm a Serenade. I had to try CdG Hinoki and I'll do that later too.Cape Heartache: It smells like a Christmas tree. Does anybody else notice that? Very deep pine and fir smells. Holiday scent for sure and a fall/winter no brainer. This is northwest US in a bottle. I feel almost unauthentic wearing it here in the southeast. It smells like a place I've seen in pictures but have never been to. I think my skin absorbs some sweet smells so the "too strong" strawberry note some complain about is unfounded with me. It is there but it just adds a little sweet to the woods, which in my opinion is quite nice. A little vanilla and a little smoky. Surprised this doesn't come up more in /frag/ threads in the colder months. My gripe (if its even a gripe, it doesn't bother me much) is that this doesn't really evolve or change. IA takes flak from being "One dimensional" which I don't really mind if its a pleasant scent.Overall: on my skin its a very nice colder weather scent. Too late in the season to buy it now but its on my list for next fall/winter

What are the best YSL L'homme flankers?Other than La Nuit? I love Ultime and am tempted to cop a bottle but I'm torn on how powdery the rose makes it....
Should I just get a 60ml of Sauvage EDP and fall for the meme? Don't want to smell like everyone else but I have a feeling my gf won't mind much...
>>14181191Kouros is perfection in hot weather. Just do one half spray on your chest from a foot away. Serious Ancient Greek statue vibes

>>14181265Maybe 5% of western men wear fragrance. If even 25% of those wear Sauvage, that's still barely 1 in 100 dudes who will smell like you. As long as you and your gf both enjoy the scent, everyone should be happy.
How do I even get into /fragrance/? I use pic related because mommy is always gifting that for my birthday but I hate it. Can you even get into this without becoming autistic about it?
>>14181434Just go somewhere that has bottles you can test and smell a few things. Of there's anything that appeals then buy it. Simple as that really.

Had to order a bigger sample of Sycomore to make up my mind, but probably gonna cop for summer. Im surprised its not discussed more often 'round here. I've tried so many vetivers and this is definitely my favorite. Vetiver Extraordinaire and Grey Vetiver are good too - I feel like Sycomore falls somewhere in the middle.
>>14179994Did you read the post? I didn't recommend the one I was wearing, I was just mentioning that the ones I tried side by side with the originals ranged from very close to identical. I figured people might want to avoid dropping hundreds when they don't need to.

What's the best everyday perfume for someone living in an eternal summer country?
Bought Armaf Shades Blue, never again buying shady fragrances without many reviews. Shades Blue smells like shit during the opening, but then smells 80% like Blue de Chanel. Ordered CDNI a while ago, but still hasn't arrived--hoping this won't be as bad.Got 360 Red and it smells like lemons. Will wait until summer to see how it develops. Also got Cuba Royal, this $7 cheapy smell good as hell. Next purchase will be Halloween Man Shot or a Savage clone.

If you look on Fragrantica there are a lot of Kouros flankers that are marketed for hotter weather, but unfortunately I am not sure if these are still made.>>14181373I'd go for Jaguar Pace EDP. Cheaper much better fuccboi showergel fragrance.>>14181434Autism is only present online, there's nothing more to it than liking a certain smell. Start by watching youtube videos so you have a list of what to try when going to a department store. But you ain't gonna like it judging by your 'old man' remark. You are not going to find any Chanel fragrances without citruses, at least for male. Try some female ones.>>14182051Probably best bet is Versace Pour Homme, CK One, L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Summer (any version), Cartier Roadster Sport, Mugler Cologne and any vetiver based freshie: Guerlain Vetiver, Lalique Encre Noire Sport, Terre d'Hermes Intense Vetiver etc.>>14182151Bleu de Chanel EDT

How risky a blind buy is Prada Amber PH?I can't find anywhere that isn't an hour and a half away that has it to sample and finding a sample online is a challenge too.Keep in mind I also blind bought Body Kouros and loved it.
>>14182151It’s Vegas. Go tux or leisure suit. Preferably brightly colored. If you don’t look like an extra from an 80s mafia movie, you’re doing it wrong.
Is Prada Luna Rossa (the original) a good casual and work scent? Is it alluring to women or am I better off buying something else?
>>14182733Great scent. Imagine a classic smelling fougere with the addition of a 2000s smelling ozonic citrus a la Dolce & Gabanna plus a rich musky base with some saffron and suede. I blind bought it a few years ago and never regretted it.

>>14183393Every single one of their 2000s releases has the same ozonic citrus kind of smell. I would've specified otherwise
>>14183439Not sure I follow :/You mean light blue?
>>14183264Fragrancesamplesuk or Perfumista. Used both and been really happy.
>>14183453Yes, light blue is included. I’m trying to say every 2000s D&G release has a similar citrus note that Prada used also as it was typical to the 2000s. Don’t know how to simplify it anymore man
>>14183477So Prada is more citrusy? I low key wanna buy it but can’t find any samples where I live
>>14182622performance is not that great but It's a great fragrance that will work in the upcoming spring/summer season. Even office safe.>>14182733Well, it's different from Body Kouros. Prada Amber Pour homme is definitely a unique scent, and I would best describe it as a very expensive clean soapy smell. My nose mostly picks up the myrrh (a scent that everyone from Eastern Europe is accustomed with) with a rich warm and creamy vanilla undertone. In the drydown I can sense more of the white florals.>>14182893Unfortunately this is Prada's response to the Ambroxan 'blue' fragrance trend started several years ago, but they managed to pull in a little more class (probably with the lavender) from the likes Sauvage, Bleu de Chanel etc.. Yes, this will be loved by the female counterpart and is office safe. My favorite is the Carbon flanker.>>14183264Have you tried Notino? They have samples of all the popular niches and even some obscure designers.>>14183360I would say it's about 95% the same as ADG and has better performance.>>14183398Fantastic scent, probably my favorite from Chanel. It's basically spring in a bottle. I'd say it's very much a fresh out of the shower type scent for a woman. Green notes subdued by a little powdery iris with a more developing heart towards the drydown . This is definitely a perfume for matured pallets, definitely a counterpart to the ever so popular 'criminally' sweet fragrances in the vein of La vie est belle.

>>14183909The entire TdH line is a stinky, medicinal mess. I am very picky about vetiver. Thanks for your concern though.
>>14183921I didn't rep the original TdH, the EdP, or the Eau Tres Fraiche. Those aren't remarkable at all. But Intense Vetiver is actually very good and you shouldn't dismiss it without smelling it for yourself. Not like its family at all.
