Sell them to Disney.
>>
>>107588463
Unironically this
>>
>>107589036
Marvel isn't doing that well either so why would selling DC to Disney fix the problem?
>>
>>107589043
It is doing way better actually. I mean hulk outsold batman. Plus good movies and not more snyder fanfictions.
>>
>>107588383
We murder all pre flashpoint fans.
>>
>>107589065
Snyder's been gone for a while now. Let it go.
>>

Reboot
>>
>>107588383
Why? Dc pajeets on facebook are saying dc is doing great
>>
>>107589140
>facebook pajeets
There's your problem.
>>
>>107588383
empty hand is the reader wanting all this trite shit from DC not dc editorial.
>>
>>107588383
We don't because, lets face it, it's not like we'd do any better. Have you read some of the shit we post here?
>>
>>107588383

Make something super popular.

DC has never really been an innovator, preferring to just copy and "refine" established concepts. For much of their history, they've been mimicking Marvel because they're selling better. If you give them another dragon to chase, they might improve. Maybe.
>>
>>107589454
Futa orc dickers and tit cats would preferable to the shit DC publishes.
>>
>>107589065
Hulk is fine, everything else is crap. Batman pissing outside the toiler is a better read than War of Sheeeeeits.
>>
>>107589749
Could you go back to /tv/?
>>
>>107589920
Is he wrong tho? Miller batman is the quintessial batman out there that every new fag writer tries to mold themselves after.

Guess why DC gave him the job? So he could copy the grittiness of daredevil and give it to Batman.

DC having these 'deep' stories have always been carbon copy of marvel or attempting to be as deep as marvel. The new 52 was full on edgefest that early 2000s marvel was famous for.

Except unlike DC, marvel saw the new trends and embraced the hipster bullshit. Now DC is playing catch up again by taking marvels old hipster talents while marvel is doing something new again.

DC's always playing catch up. They're perpetually late to the party because of their "wait and see" approach to everything.

As one industry guy said back in the day "Whenever DC gets on a trend, you can be damn sure that trend is over".
>>
>>107588383
The only way for you to save DC is for you to stop reading DC.

Continue buying comics, so they know that the potential market exists, but nothing from DC, so they know that they're not reaching that market because something is wrong with them.

But let's be honest, you don't have enough willpower to commit to that course of action.

This is how.

Too bad that what they're "catching up" to is completely indefensible shit.

The Empty Hand is supposed to be the empty hand of the readers. I guess you could say you're jacking off if you wanna cum on it.

Terrorism.
>>
>>107589319
Exactly. What is DC supposed to do with the cancer that is Comyfags, Batfags, and Funfags?
>>
>>107589997
>Is he wrong tho?
Yeah. You're both shallow casuals who only know the shallow casual shit.
>Millar's Batman is the quintessential Batman
Which facebook post did you get that from genius?
>>
>>107591094
Ok ur telling me Miller isnt responsible for the batman we have today? Thats a fucking hot take.
>>
>>107591186
Let me ask you this: why is Millar's Batman more well known than Millar's daredevil?
>>
>>107589997
>>107591186
>Denny O'Neil who?
Batman was already gritty before Millar's Batman.
>>
>>107591297
O'Neil took the camp out of Batman, but he was still a nice, mentally healthy guy. Miller turned him into a surly sadistic loner.
>>
>>107591679
>Miller turned him into a surly sadistic loner.
Oh I get it now, you're a retarded casual with shallow casual plagiarized straight from facebook and youtube. I fail to see how the quite honestly bloated cast of four robins, three batgirls, and Azrael is writers emulating Millar's Batman as a loner. I also fail to see how Millar's Batman is a loner seeing how he has a robin and an army in the Dark Knight returns.
Go back to Normieville you fucking poser.

>>
>>107592221
He's not great, but he's decent which is better than Bendis and King.
>>107588463
Marvel has been as garbage as DC is now, for ages. Hickman possibilities aside, Marvel has nothing going on for them, except maybe Hulk.
>>
>>107588383
hire none leftwing people into leadership roles
>>
>>107592265
>hurdur Hulk is the only good book
Fucking hell, what’s with the casual shitposters?
>>
>>107591952
You're the one who keeps calling him Millar.
Despite the army, he's still a loner because he doesn't respect them. It's his way or the highway.
>>
>>107592221

The only reason people think he's hot shit is because Didio drove all of the good writers away.
>>
>>107592379
It's not good. But it's not insultingly bad.
>>
>>107592379
Everyone's just repeating that Hulk beat Batman this month. That's cool and all but I guess.
>>
>>107592866
>he doesn't even get what the anon is telling him

yup, a complete retard as expected.
>>
>>107593220
Oh, I got it, but it was a retard's baseless opinion, so, I ignored it. If anon thinks there are other good books, how about he names them so we can see his grand taste and the gems marvel is producing, hm?
>>
>>107590084
I haven't bought a comic from DC in years.
>>
>>107589065
> muh movies

Oh look another casualfag
>>
>>107589065
>good movies
LOL
>>
>>107592289
If you believe left wing politics is what is going wrong at DC right now, you have tunnel vision.
>>
>>107590198
This bait is retarded.
>>
>>107592221
Rebirth was shit, just as dcyou and n52, it was the same shit, only actual retards believe it was good.
>>
>>107595569
It had four or five good stories instead of DCYou's two and New 52's negative six.
>>
>>107591952
Mate, this isn't up to debate, Miller pretty much set the tone for Batman (and most of big two comics) for a lot of the 90s.
I don't see why you keep insisting he didn't (or why you keep on calling him Millar, these are two VERY different creators), but for all the flak people give to Alan Moore for making capes "grown up", Miller's work seems much more complicit in the shitfest that was the 90s than anyone else.
>>
>>107595377
>>107595434
Fuck off samefagging pajeet

>Miller pretty much set the tone for Batman (and most of big two comics) for a lot of the 90s.
Not at all.
>but for all the flak people give to Alan Moore for making capes "grown up
As much as a retarded claim as yours
>Miller's work seems much more complicit in the shitfest that was the 90s than anyone else.
Terminator, Predator, Mortal Kombat, Bart Simpson and rad culture in general had a way bigger impact. Fuck off. Read comics.
>>
>>107596293
>Terminator, Predator, Mortal Kombat, Bart Simpson and rad culture in general had a way bigger impact. Fuck off. Read comics.
Yeah, I'm sure pretty much every Image and Image-like guy in the 90s mentioning Frank Miller as their huge inspiration are them being facetious.
>>
>>107596322
And Ozzy's biggest influence was the Beatles.
>>
>>107596357
And just like is very easy to see how the Beatles influence could result in Black Sabbath if you know shit about music, it's very easy to follow the movements within the big two between DKR / Watchmen and the image wankfest.
I don't even know why you're trying to refute this, even if we assume I don't read comics (which I do), a lot of people who have fucking credentials about how many comics they've read seem to think like that, not to mention the image guys flat out and unanimously claiming Miller as an influence.
>>
>>107596420
He’s a retard. Just ignore him
>>
>>107592221
Johns was only good when someone was around to tell him "no." The second he had free reign his books went to shit.
>>
>>107589140
is this still a thing? i thought they were paid to to say that shit during the marketing of BvS
>>
>>107588383
The management quite simply needs b cleared out. And most effective way for that to happen would be for WB to shutdown DC in house and license out the publication rights to another company much like they flirted with the idea of during the early 80's. It wouldn't be Marvel because they're considered a competitor where it actually counts these days, but I'm certain somebody would license the rights.
