What were the best Superman family stories or runs from the Silver Age? I started reading Kirby's issues of Jimmy Olsen because I've never read his Fourth World saga, and now I want to read more of the Silver Age Superman stuff. A lot of it seems really cheesy and bizarre, especially some of the Superboy and Jimmy Olsen stuff, so I'm wondering what's worth reading or if there's any good collections of the best stories.

Kirby is NOT at all typical. DC had others, like Swan, redraw his faces.

for a good example of how the art and writing changed over the years. If you find a period you like, https://www.amazon.com/Showcase-Presents-Superman-Vol-1/dp/1401207588 are B&W but inexpensive.

Kirby wasn't Silver Age, dude. That was the 70s.
