>>107016831>>107016823One of the few old lady adventures Usagi has that doesn't end in tragedy, sadly
>>107016831No wonder she's rich. She's scamming people to bodyguard for free and pay for her. She's a thief and shame on Usagi for playing along.
>>107017140>The Nilson and Hermy dolls
>>107017148There's the problem, none of those wings have an elbow joint.
>>107017155>That's why I've dedicate my life to researching flight and building a giant fucking robot for national defense
>>107017263>Cliff survivor Count: 5It;s been a long time
>>107017297>I invented the horseless cart so no horse need risk itself transporting goods or people again!
>>107017287But they already have flying people, all they need is to study one of them.
>>107017333>>107017320He seems to know how the wings work in general. I think the trick is what materials are viable. Seemed like silk was what was used in the latest model, so maybe he's already tried leather?
>>107017354I'm wondering why didn't anyone come up with gliders, they're just a step away from kites. But people were probably so obsessed with imitating birds that they didn't think of it. I imagine it's much less obvious without the perspective of already knowing various flight and gliding methods.
>>107006882Personally I think the main thing against Nii being Nezumi is that in this episode, there are several occasions where they're practically in the same panel or else definitely in separate places doing different things at the same time.
>>107017556always the spearmen
>>107016787I hate this bitch so fucking much. Absolutely one of the worst Usagi stories just because he goes along with it in the first place instead of giving her the Death Glare and leaving, or throwing her in a well.
>>107017623>Potential Kirishitans: 7
>>107016925>>107016843Not ending in tragedy is apparently relative
>>107018002Thanks for reaing
>>107017182Have we ever actually seen usagi get dressed onscreen before?
>>107017155>one day, foreigners could come swooping into Edooh no

>>107017155>Usagi does the Monkey Island running gagHoly shit.
>>107016937I love this one. Just a nightmare from beginning to end.
>>107017078I always imagine that Jei's victims are pulling a variant of the Ring faces.
>>107016775God I hate this bitch
>>107016937Inazuma deserved better
>>107020071Jei to ro Jei to roJei to ro Jei to ro
>>107017757This is such a good story.
>>107016974That girl just aint right.
>>107020908She's scarier than Jei is. I was kind of hoping this would turn into a cute Rin Sesshomaru thing but this shit is straight horrifying.
>>107018192>>107019292Not nearly enough.Stupid cute ronin.
>>107017591While I don't disagree, I find funny how THIS kind of meh issue is the bottom of the barrel for Usagi. What a great series it is to have it's absolute worst lows on levels usually reserved for very average stories.
>>107017591>>107021003He's left far kinder old women to their doom.
>>107021003To be clear, I don't think the issue is badly written or in any technical way a low point; on the contrary, it's the very fact that Sakai writes this horrible old hag so well that makes me hate the story. Not even the fact that her son comes after her is bad writing, spineless faggots like that really exist (in fact, I think they're created by this exact kind of intolerable shrew). If the story had ended with the old woman getting set on fire or hanging herself or something I would probably have loved it.>>107021110Exactly!
>>107016753Sorry I wasn't there to bump the last thread. But I am still reading.
>>107016865>The word "we" struck fear into the heart of our previously fearless hero.
>>107016965Girl is so used to Jei she'd prefer possessed aunty over the original woman. This is like the most Stockholm Syndrome thing ever.

>>107016925Makes you wonder how her husband died
>>107017830>>107017844God I detest this bitch and this story even more than the old woman. She's just 100% cunt and somehow makes it out alive.
>>107024747She bullies Tomoe quite nicely. Speaking of her, after this arc she's gone from the comic for 10 years straight (with an exception of one dream sequence, IIRC). Get ready for the last third of this storytime, up to the most recent issues, to contain no Tomoe at all.
>>107018008You damn cocktease.
>>107025315Also: no Noriyuki, Katsuichi, Jotaro, or Gen. It's the Kitsune & Ishida Show and I'm madder about this than is really reasonable.
>>107028140I like Ishida a lot but 10 years sure is a long time. I mean I'd rather Stan not just force them but yikes
>>107028665This counts as second basu right?
Fun tidbit; if The Hidden is treated with historical rigidity, the current timeline for Usagi(as of today, not Dahrmamon's reading) is 1614.
>>107030533>1614So time for Osaka castle to burn again, and Christianity to get banned?Or is Christianity already banned by this point?
>>107030682>Or is Christianity already banned by this point? It's banned in the Usagiverse regardless of real-world chronology; we just had the story "Contraband" about this.
>>107030737Right. I couldn't remember from the story if it was officially banned, or just ultra-frowned-upon.
>>107017320>excuse me Mr. Bat Ninja, could I have a look at your wings
This is probably a stupid question but is Ishida's precinct in Edo? They keep talking about it but I can't tell if Usagi's ever actually been there, and on top of that characters often just talk about "the city" without specifying one.
>>107031520He was there very early on for sure. Like, the second and third stories. He met Tomoe and Noriyuki for the first time on their way to Edo and he escorted them there. Then the next chapter he followed them into the city as a trusted friend. He left soon after.I dunno about Ishida's precinct though.
>>107017931See, one of the troubles with Tomoe and Chizu is they're too damn straightlaced so they get lead around by the nose by fuckers like Horikawa or that One Ninja Asshole.
Oh good we're at the part of the series where it's just back to back to back unlikable fucking dickheads walking all over the main characters.
>>107033637Yeah, this particular stretch of the comic has a bit too few assholes getting buried in rubble or ironically drowned. Extra odd since Sakai is normally no stranger to that kind of thing.
>>107018008Let's get back to The Bitch of the Mother Mountain
>>107034156>This looks like a job for MEDDLE MAN!
>>107034210>Ha! Coward!Bit of a far cry from when she snapped at him for not telling
>>107034288>Fuck this guy>Fuck Noriko>And fuck that old lady from the start of the thread while we're at it
The next osen fight should just be everyone ganging up on Noriko
>>107034210I love Stan's staredowns. Someone should make a super collage of them all. But not me. Im too busy. Being lazy.
>>107034339FUCK YOU, PANDA!
>>107034714"Bitch can't you see I'm enjoying some quality time here?"
>>107034787THAT'S NOT TRUE! THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE!
>>107016754Ah yes, the time usagi wanted to murder an old lady volunteerly.
>>107017119He does make a good point, the kamori literally all have a superpower. You'd think they would move up more than just a second string pajama clan. Or that Usagi would encounter one that was not a ninja.
Sorry I don't have time to finish the arc tonight. But see you tomorrow
>>107017926Noriyuki really has to have tomoe's back once in his goddang life. How many times has she saved/wiped his ass again?
>>107028665That got me.
>going through previous threads>Someone saved my banner gif I made a year or 2 agoThat makes me happy
>>107034911What a smart pair of goons. Keep up the good work, goons.
>>107035297I really don't like little panda lord.
>>107035297>>107036076To be fair, Tomoe did have no real proof for her accusation. And Noriyuki basically did say it was just to keep peace
>>107025315Really it’s a decade stretch? Kinda crazy since I just plow through all the sagas,And stuff so I never had to deal with reading it monthly
>>107034339Why is Panda such an incompetent cunt sometimes he’s oblivious to the obvious scheming and backstabbing around him and falls pretty easily for this shit?
>>107036559He's a kid. Kids are generally really, really dumb.
>>107036675Right, but it seems less like he's being naive and more like he's actively ignoring good advice.
>>107034744>t-time for you to ma-massage me, Usagi-chan>someone is coming>RATS
>>107034744>>107036848Tomoe is secretly pretty lewd.
>>107036885Don't worry Tomoe, you will always have tea-time.
>>107034339How hard is it to simply ask her of she wants to get married? If her happiness is the goal then that seems like the only way to achieve it, otherwise it's obvious she's being get rid of.
>>107034722>you didn't find gold because you're not working hard enoughThat's not how mining works.
>>107037726Tell that to the Belgians (yuck) in the Congo.
>>107034778It is pretty shitty to not acknowledge your own child, if he couldn't do it officially he should've at least spent some time with her. She seems to have a similar background and personality to Azula, is that a trope or just a coincidence?
>>107037741>Dissing BelgiansLol, salty much M'Kumbo?
>>107037766Such a classic edit, it makes me laugh every time.
>>107037819Daddy issues is a trope, I would say.
>>107034192>She's still a wildcatWould that be a racist term for anthro species?
>>107036885As if her face here didn't make that clear:>>107034229
>>107034537Cmon guy, that one isn't even a cat. Stop calling things wildcats.
>>107037861Please don't embarass yourself by whiteknighting France's inbred step-cousin.
>>107038737I will not let anyone shittalk the Flemish. The Walloons can burn for all I care. >>107037936Maybe it's their 'porch monkey'.
Shame we haven't seen any foreign weapons beyond that guy with the rapier. I'd to see some old knight in full gear and a shield.
>>107040153I do hope we see another foreigner. Even if it's just a short appearance.
>>107040153I'm pretty sure europe is beyond full plate mail considering what the spaniard looked like
>>107035567It was a good one, anon!>>107030533Yeah we into fancy schmancy territory around 1600.
>>107040153What guy with a rapier? I don't remember one.
>>107041182Portugese dude who demanded to watch someone commit suicide.
>>107041197Which storytime was it? I think I missed one of the early ones.
>>107041230Oh no, it's one that's still coming up! It's a more recent story.
>>107041230It's a recent story, like from 2017
>>107036712Have you ever spent any amount of time aorund an eleven-year-old?Now imagine an eleven-year-old with absolute power, used to being obeyed, who nobody feels comfortable telling the straight truth to because it would be rude.
>>107037741They didn't do much mining, though, the main industry there was rubber plantations, and there WAS rubber, so...
>>107037936I guess it's a feline specific version of savage or wild man.
