Let's discuss Giganta. A criminally underrated villain who should really get more respect in the comics.

Why would she give a single fuck?

I forgot, this is DC. There's not even the facsimile of continuity. This is probably Giganta IV or something.
>>
>>104560800
The gorilla thing really depends on the continuity you’re drawing from.

You're thinking of an origin from 60 years ago and you're mad at 'continuity'? You probably got that from the Justice League cartoon anyway.

1995 was 60 years ago? Is this a meme?

The multiverse gets ripped up and stitched back together every Tuesday. Aren’t parallel universe refugee counsoling services actually a thing in DC comics?

The sad thing is, all the alternate realities end up populated by the same characters, within a few degrees of one another.
Not only does it make Superman and all the rest less special knowing there's multitudes of them, it also highlights the real problem with creativity at DC comics.
>>
>>104560838
It's not anyone's fault you don't know comics except your own.
>>
>>104560977

Well I'm not defending the contrarian fuck, but to be fair, comics practically TRY to be utterly incomprehensible. They sure as hell don't make it easy.
>>

V, if you ignore stuff like Justice, etc.

I (E2) debuted in 1944
II (E1) in 1966
III (post-Crisis) in 1997
IV (Prime) in 2011
V (Rebirth) in 2017

This is some Kino Giganta, especially the end because Doris is kinda terrible. Giganta is more than just a jobber, she's years of pent up nerd resentment.
>>
>>104561010
But that's just the fun of it all, go ahead and read about 84 years worth of content and try to see when it makes all sense.
>hint: it never does

Giganta can be a cool character if you actually give her room to do something.

Has no one in this thread read comics older than the mid 90's?
>>
>>104560869
I still like the jumpsuit better, but the fitnesswear makes me think that Giganta has just given up and started buying off-the-rack to cut down on expenses since she jobs so much and it'd be such an in-character thing for her to do.

>>104561808
Her modern characterization of a really shitty person rather than an evil person leaves a lot of room that isn't really explored at all.
>>
>>104560928

I don't know. I like the new costume.
>>
>>104563054
The fitnesswear outfit is, strangely enough, heavily dependent on the colorist.
