What is the best canned fish?
Pic related is my favourite but I have not had many types.

Is it patrician or? I have not seen many people eat these things.

Kipper Snacks are unironically the finest canned fish treat a man can eat. Nothing better than a quality slice of toast, some mayonnaise and a nice morsel of kipper with just a dash of pepper.

Anyone like smoked oysters or clams? I'm afraid to try them but they intrigue me somehow

Not as good as they used to be. Brunswick (brisling obviously) are better.

Grew up on west coast, eating oysters since lad years, if you have that taste for seafood they're amazing however served, raw, baked, fried or smoked, they're rich in flavor, but as someone who likes them I fully acknowledge that they look like and have the texture of snot right out of the shell, or dogfood when smoked. They'll look gross, but man if you like the taste, there's nothing like them in the world

They're very different in texture between different styles of cooking them, so give some different kinds a try, but don't be surprised if you feel like you're eating snot on a cold winter day at first

smoked oyster... assuming that counts.
>>12332380
heh, I just bought some today. I don't like oysters normally but smoked is fine. Just buy a tin or some oysters in oil and some water crackers and try it. You'll either like them immediately or hate them immediately. There's no in between.
