Make slurry of starch and water and add to pot, let boil to reduce sauce. Meanwhile steam your broc in microwave or wherever. Add to pot once done and serve over rice.

This is the first thing I've properly cooked! (that wasn't slow cooker slop, anyway). It's just a tomato, bacon and onion sauce on tagliatelle. I showed it to my gf because she's been cooking for me for ages and I want to be able to return the favour.

I used paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and fresh parsley I had on hand.No deep fryer, just a sauce pot with some veg oil on the stove. Did it by feel. Get the oil a little hotter than optimal fry temp and test by dropping some batter in. The temp will drop when you add the fish. Frying up a single portion in a small amount of oil is a difficult balancing act. I guess that's why I was happy with the outcome and took a picture.
