may just be me but I'm having such a hard time finding mature yet cute bikinis...

I hate my stomach so a high waist is a must, but its so hard to find a pair that isn't granny-pants at the bottom, way too little material or way too 'kawaii ruffle/ruche overload'

I mean I can find some that I like, but then they have only 1-10 sales and/or 0 reviews and I def don't trust those

anyone get any cute swimwear recently that they're willing to share/review?

Super small haul for me, but I'm rather excited to see if the length on these will suit me. If these turn out nice I'll be getting the darker versions as well.

It's not a bikini but I recently got this swimsuit. I was a little disappointed with it though. some of the ruffles started to come apart after one trip to the pool, and the bows on the waist were pink instead of white when they showed up. I think aliexpress swimsuits are really hit or miss since they have to hold up for swimming so they can't be poorly sewn together at all.
>>
>>10213449

these both look horrible anon, especially the left one. are they better irl?

>>
>>10213877
nta but they do look really bad.
>>
>>10213813
wow I didn't think they looked horrible. I really like wearing the black one for casual outfits, Although I wear the moon bow on the waist rather then the neck like the model. Its comfy and I get a lot of compliments on it. The blue one looks ok but the fabric is a little shiny which gives it a costumey look + the fit is really weird so I was kinda of disappointed by it.
>>
>>10214199
i think the black one is pretty cute personally
>>
>>10212558
Have you looked at all the non ali "retro" stores?
>>
>>10214199
I have the black one in the short-sleeve version and I love how comfy it is too!
One question though, do you get the issue where the bottom-most button just kind of unbuttons itself whenever it wants? It keeps doing that to me and I don't know what to do to fix it. It's not an issue of fit because it sits a bit loose just like the model picture, but like the buttonhole is too big or something so the button just slips out.
>>
>>10214467
I did have that problem..... I think I just put a safety pin on the inside to kinda force the button to stay in place. Kind of a lazy solution I guess.
>>
>>10213749
I re-checked the listing and I guess its not available anymore....but here is the link anyway in case they re-stock soon.

I've gotten into this seriously stupid conflict with an Ali seller. Local postal services refused to import an item because the thought the declaration was faulty (the rep claimed that it was in Chinese rather than English), so they sent it back to the seller. I tried to ask for my money back from the seller and they gave me this rather confusing reply.

I get it if they don't want to refund the shipping fees, but the items are being returned to them so those should be refunded. So do I just open a dispute for each item in my 20+ items order or can I do something else?

>>
>>10220450
Looks like a 2piece set. Have you bought this, anon? I've had my eye on a few things from this store and they're quite pricey, but if the quality is up to par I might give them a try.
>>
Has anyone bought leotards of ali before? How did it go?
>>
>>10220614
As in, one for dance/exercise? Or do you mean a bodysuit meant to be worn like regular clothing? Or just something to wear in the bedroom? I wouldn't expect any AE leotard to be too opaque or well-made, plus with Chinese sizing the torso part might be a little short
>>
>>10220518
It is a two piece, yes, and I do own it. I was worried cause their sizes in general seem to run small, but this one fits fairly comfortably. The embroidery looks really nice, and the material is pretty thick. It's a little to warm to get much summer use, but it'll be amazing in autumn. My only gripe is that the torso bit is a litttttttle bit short, but it's nothing too drastic. It just means wearing the skirt slighty higher than your natural waist if you do up all the buttons. Generally I'm quite impressed with it.

I love a lot of their items and am kinda tempted to get one of the long embroidered sweaters, if I feel like treating myself when it gets cold again.

I've also owned this dress for a long time, it does run a little small, but for me it fits fine. So the material could be better but not too bad. Seems to have a mild stretch to it. Boobs are not what sits awkwardly. The straps are in the wrong place so I will look at getting them altered. The straps sort of act like norm straps but are too much in the centre at the front and the back has them set widely.

are there any qualitt wigs on aliexpress at a reasonable price? looking for a super light gray one thats around bust length
>>
>>10233340
Can you be more specific? Human hair? (Remy or not?) Synthetic? A blend? Lace front? 360 lace? Full lace? Silk top? Hard front/no lace? What's your maximum price?
>>
>>10233553
synthetic, i guess. its going to be a silver white wig. im not sure about most of these terms. I was thinking $60? would be a good starting point?
>>
>>10233565
Remy is a type of human hair fiber. Blend means it's a mix of synthetic and human hair. Lace front means the front of the wig has a portion of ventilated sheer fabric to create a realistic hairline. 360 is the same but all around the edge of the wig, it's good for ponytail styles. Full lace means the whole wig is ventilated sheer fabric. Hard front means no lace. Silk top means the top is a different fabric to make the part even more realistic. My pic has a lace front on the left and a hard front on the right.
If you want bangs, a hard front is your best bet. They usually range from $30 to $50 on american stores. If you need the hairline to show, you may want a lace front. They tend to start at around $60 on american stores but you can get them for less if you wait for a sale.
>>
>>10233917
wow thanks for that, i never knew all of these intricate things. so basically youre also saying buy local and dont bother with ali for wigs?
>>
>>10233960
Not necessarily, just giving you a point of reference for price, since at the budget point you said you could get something from a western store where it's probably a bit more expensive but you can more easily find reviews and be sure what you receive and what you expect. On Ali you can find cheaper wigs, but it's also a gamble whether or not it will be the quality, size or color advertised.

What's the one thing you've bought on AliExpress that you end up using the most? For me it's probably this stupid little travel cosmetic bag. I actually end up using it a lot and it's big enough to fit a ton of stuff in it but small enough to not be a pain to travel with. $5 well spent.
>>

One of those stupid "tactical" belts (because it's very easy to adjust), or a really cheap shirt I bought with some janky embroidery
>>
>>10237874
My moomin purse and my resin molds. Purse is fairly new but since it sees daily use it's the most used.
>>
>>10237874

Almost anything like that I'd buy it off taobao, it's generally cheaper with a bigger selection, and I'd usually also buy cheap stickers and washi tape (again, better selection on taobao. In particular I like those stores where you pay like 2rmb for a single repeat of washi tape so you aren't stuck with 5 metres of it, regardless if it's cute)

For Ali I mostly reserve it to things I can't order off taobao. Mostly glitter powder, resin liquid and powder things which can't be shipped through taobao's shipping. Plus nail accessories, which are frequently blocked for international shipping on taobao.

It's a wig making tool, used to detangle hair and to blend hair colors (or to blend different hair types; synthetic, human, animal, etc). If you'll forgive the annoying background music, here's a video of the same one in action. A similar tool is used to mix wool colors
https://youtu.be/ETE_BsmJYNg
I opted for one off of AliExpress because it was a LOT cheaper than any of the ones I've seen elsewhere and shipping on these things tends to be expensive due to the weight and size and the AE listing had free shipping, plus the majority of shops selling wig making tools are located in Europe so shipping to America is extra pricy.
In my experience as a wig maker on a budget, AE is great for tools, okay for human and synthetic hair (the human hair is mostly Indian or East Asian which isn't what I'm shopping for right now, and I haven't found much animal hair on AE), and not so great for lace and other foundation materials.

AliExpress in my experience is a good place to buy inexpensive tools for crafts; knitting needles, crochet hooks, pom pom makers, those circular knitting loom things, bias tape makers, all kinds of stuff

Are there any decent tea parties on Ali? I usually get mine from sosic shop on taobao, but I don't really want to make a big order when I just need one pair...

Thank you so much, anon! Do you know if they run true to size?
>>
>>10242270
I personally always go a half size up when buying on Ali, but I would say they're true to size.
>>

these look like the ones I bought, they technically fit but they were so fucking hard they were really painful to actually walk in..
>>
>>10242368
Really? They were fine for me. I went looking through the reviews too just in case, but other than one post talking about the straps being uncomfortable, they seemed fine.

Has anyone bought from this seller? Is it safe to buy from them? How reliable are they?
>>
>>10243006
maybe it's just me then but it felt like wearing rocks.. as soon as I put them on they felt horrible, didn't even attempt to walk in them
>>
Can someone recommend white safety shorts? The pair I got is sheer/see-through. I don't feel comfortable wearing skirts without them. And black doesn't really work under light clothes that are a bit sheer
>>
does anyone have experience ordering circle lenses off ali? i saw some with good reviews and a good price but honestly it seems a bit sketch.
>>
>>10243081
nvm i'm an idiot and just scrolled up, i'll likely not buy lenses from ali and stick to my usual sites.
>>
>>10243059
You're probably better of looking at Western retailers.
>>
>>10243250
ok so where do I find affordable decent ones?
>>
>>10243396
by looking around. We're not gonna spoon feed you other sites. Try amazon.

Aliexpress shops for cute panties?

Hello I'm trying to combine shipping on an AE order (first timer ><), the seller says to submit an unpaid order. How do I do that?

Screenshots would be extra helpful because I can't find it at all
