Papercraft anon from a few threads ago here, I feel bad I didn't see this thread sooner. I kinda lost interest after a while and I didn't bother to try and convert the file after it sat on my desktop for over a month. Sorry to let you guys down
https://www.nbcuni.co.jp/rondorobe/anime/lain/ttl/ Can anybody explain this to me? All i can gather from the google translate is that some of the law around the license is loosening?
>>3486693it's just open source and free to use
>>3486693I'm not a lawyer, and the translation my browser provided is a little iffy, but I think that it means you can make a profit by selling from your Lain fanart, but you cannot use the official artwork produced from the show and try to resell that. ie, you couldn't print this drawing by Mr. ABe onto a T-shirt and sell it. But if your friend drew Lain, you could use his drawing (with permission) on a T-shirt and sell it. I THINK that's what it's saying.
>>3485609No worries I was just meming. However
>>3486674You didn't let us down, anon. We still love you.
>>3486674No problem, was just curious.

>>3478931I appreciate the puns.
is there a way other than watching the cutscenes or playing the game to get into PS1 Lain ?the game seems unplayable and not that much entertaining, and most of it is untranslatedI really enjoyed the cutscenes tho
>>3493275Don't know if it'd be any more entertaining than the game for you, but just reading the translated transcripts for the game will give you just about all the content of the game without having to navigate the menus or mess with emulation.
>>3493275https://laingame.net/This is probably the most enjoyable way to go through the game without knowing Japanese.Just start with site A level 1 and go in order.
>>3493310would this be the correct order for files?also what about layer 0
>>3492041>>3492625slower one is cropped weird waa
>>3493335Yeah exactly. Each prefix (tda, dc, tak, etc) is a different narrative, but they all come together. So for example as long as you're reading Tda001, Td002, Tda003, you're doing it right.Layer 0 is a lot of random stuff iirc, some of it isn't even translated either. The story store starts on layer 1.
>>3493814Forgot an image oops.>>3493520I think I was the first to accidently post this picture of yui in here, seems like it ended up in a lot of people's Lain folder.Someone did an edit so it's Lain awhile back but I lost it.
