Think of the way that Bitcoin just moved and now it’s just hanging out near $8k, like it wasn’t just $4,963 a month ago. Now that alt season has started, we could see Ethereum make a really big move now too. I know most shitcoins will, but I think it’s different for ETH. ETH is widely known in the NPC community, especially in the Wall Street fag circles. I thinks it’s just already accepted that ETH will get everything that Bitcoin does when it comes to governmental acceptance and institutional buying.

We can see major FOMO because of the way that Bitcoin has moved. That’s why I’m now all in ETH. We could be looking at $500 next week because these regulars will just fomo right, they just fire up that desktop and login to Coinbase and hit the buy button.
>>
>>13661505
BCH just failed its fork. ETH is going to shoot up very soon.
>>
>>13661505
I converted all my BTC to ETH.
Alt season finally starts.

We all make it boys.
>>
It's already dumping, last time there was the ico craze...now eth needs to actually deliver, won't happen till POS/2.0
>>
>>13661505
>$500
$5,000**

Also all the doubters that were on the edge before, maybe they sold and didn’t have the balls to hold long last year will be back for more because they don’t want to miss out. I think they will gravitate more towards ETH because they think Bitcoin has already made its move but ETH hasn’t.
>>
I'm committed to this. I hope we make it.
>>
>>13661561
thx
>>

I hear that all the time “hurr durr no more ICOs”

Now most of those projects that were ICOs are actually using ETH in different ways! Don’t you see? The “muh ICOs” FUD is a meme!

I honestly don't give a fuck about ETH but I hold the meme 32 ETH. I am de-risking

Most of those projects are defunct.
>>
>>13661679
Only takes a few. We knew the bulk was a river of crap anyhow.
>>
5K EOY confirmed
>>
>>13661651
pretty much all the FUD about ETH are memes only
the problem is, we live in clownworld
BTC can pump to $8k while having the same fundamental issues it had 2 years ago, but ETH could power $1 billion worth of games and defi (not too far from that already, actually) and price wouldn't move one bit
only ETH 2.0, which is a meme itself at least in the sense it won't be functional for a decade while ETH 1.x is where the magic happens, will make it pump
>>
>>13661505
eth is a no brainer at the moment, if you don't accumulate you must be retarded..
>>
>>13661728
The market can be irrational for years... until it one day decides not to be. Nobody can be sure when the pump eventually comes.
>>
>>13661526
If a relatively simple fork fail so badly, imagine what transitioning to POS. Serenity launch is gonna be a months long drama.
>>
>>13661561
Why'd you pay him BCHs entire worth next week?
>>
Only a matter of time. Invest in Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, and ESPECIALLY Monero.
>>
Just bought another 15, good luck brETHeren
>>
Eth is going to 500.....and that's the first stop. Aquire while you can

Btc will dip and eth will keep its ratio basically intact. On the following run up eth will begin making double the gains of btc until it reaches .1 on the ratio. August.

yes :)

IM STRAPPED IN FOR THE MOON MISSION LETS GO

>>13661651
this, and now there are no more companies endlessly liquidating ETH they received in ICOs to dump the price
>>
Will I ever make it with 64 ETH?

what wallet do you lads hold eth in? i only have some btc but plan on getting in on eth, or converting some btc rather than using fiat. coinbase for eth buys? i usually go localbtc or bisq for bitcoin but do have a cb acct. thanks

Should I spend my only fee $500 on eth rn?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

use meta mask

OOOOOOOOOOO
>>
Thank you based money skelly
>>
>>13662599
cool, if eth boomed and i wanted to sell it can be traded/sold for btc and or fiat? sorry for newb stuff i'm just only familiar with btc; thanks anon(s)
>>
>>13662568
I use a ledger because it gives me peace of mind and is easy to use. Probably not worth it if you have a small stack though.
>>
>>13662684
You can sell for both on most exchanges. Mete mask is a wallet, not an exchange though. In general, you shouldn't keep your coins on exchanges because of security/hacking risk.
>>
>>13662684
use a dex and trade for a stable coin onchain.

use dexindex.io to find the best price, then use meta mask to trade.

you can trade directly from your wallet to a stable coin without using an exchange. If you want exposure to BTC check out WBTC lets you purchase BTC on ETH chain.
>>
>>13662712
yea poorfag here, maybe can do like 500usd of eth. i don't own a hardware wallet but should consider, i do hold some btc but again not even 1 full coin
>>
>>13662741
thanks anon, yea i certainly don't want to keep anything on an exchange, meta mask might work out fine for me.
>>
>>13662754
I don't think a hardware wallet is worth it unless you have at least 5 figures in crypto. Just be careful where you store your crypto.. Especially if it's on a small exchange. Just look at all the hacks over the past couple of years.
>>
>>13661541
>It's already dumping

I'm up 20% since yesterday anon
>>
>>13662773
np, good luck! Remember to take profits and don't invest money you can't afford to lose. It's easy to forget about the risk when everything is going well :)
>>
>>13661505
> Be all /SMG investor
> Finally decide I'll dabble, very very small amount, just don't know enough about the tech to be comfortable gambling
> Get 1 ETH 1 BSV decide that's it for now
Shiggy diggy
>>
>>13662797
i have an extra no longer activated cell i use samouri on, and electrum on a pc at home; at least for btc. i agree my bags are just too small for a hardware wallet. i don't have a binance acct but am very hesitant with all the hacks.
>>
Is it even possible for a coin to flip btc?

When btc sinks ALL top 10 coins follow an exact similar pattern.
>>
>>13662829
ETH has smart contracts that allow atomic swaps, no need to ever trade on an exchange again unless you want fiat
>>
>>13662847
very unlikely

I’m still sitting on 30k XLM.

Is that just a hunk of shit now? When it crashed I just stopped reading about it and figured I’d hold forever.
>>
For those using Bitmex, I have a question. Not sure if it is because of fees or because I have not understood something, but with 0.04 btc and leverage 50x I can have a 15000$ XBTUSD position but only a 8000$ ETHUSD position.

Why ? I'd prefer to go all in ETHUSD but it's almost twice more expensive
>>
>>13661505
>Eth is namedropped constantly on Netflix shows
>>
ETH will definitely 5x or even 10x
that being said, other coins with lower marketcap like NANO, VEN, will 20x

so ask yourself if you want 1 mil or 2 mil
>>
>>13663070
Oh, they have the same value in XBT it seems, so no problem.
>>
>>13662935
Still a decent choice. It's on coinbase now.
>>
>>13663130
risk/reward ration
nano/vet can easily go to 0
ethereum can’t
>>
Is 5 btc and 100 eth enough to make it by 2024?
>>
>>13662829
I wish I was half as smart as you. Lost 2k on fucking cryptopia yesterday. Don‘t let your guard down anon.
>>
>>13663308
The median savings account balance in the US is something like $4k. Most people can't even afford to buy a whole bitcoin already. Having multiple BTC in 2024 will be something most people can only dream of.
>>
>>13663422
fuck, that is no good lad. i'm just leery on chink exchanges not really smart...i ignored btc when i first heard many years ago; you live and learn.
>>
>>13663301
in 10 years sure
in the oncoming bullrun everyone will get dragged up
