Six months ago I got sick and recovered but now there's constantly mucus in the back of my throat, that I either have to cough out making horrible noises to dismay of my parents or sometimes I can't cough it out at all and it's stuck there making me uncomfortable. Any idea what is it and how to fix it?

>the entire six months?

Take guaifenesin around the clock

Drink a lot of water. Like a ton

Stay away from foods that create mucus like dairy

I have this exact same thing and I was thinking of going to the doctor too.

Get your sinuses rinsed out, or maybe do it yourself. Should be guides on how to do it online

Just for 10-14 days. If you still have a problem you have to go to the doctor

Also use a neti pot
