I need a reference similar to this one but I can't find a reference with big tits
/aco/ commission thread
what an ugly body
Drawings like that really make me think Loomis is a meme
>>699203That´s a blue board. You can´t show tits.Or ass.
>>699203There was an ortographic thread here a while ago anyone have the archive link.
>>6992193d Guy, where's your rendition of tails in the Sonic the Movie?
>>699311Those are pretty cool, almost makes me want to give them a go.
>>699219what in the fuck is that
>>699640A successful attempt at garnering attention on the internet.
>>699203It's really, really hard to find an ortho drawing with big tits. I honestly have no idea why when there are so many artists out there drawing stylistic women with big knockers. And it's odd that there is nothing like 3D.SK except with drawings. >>699236This one?https://archived.moe/3/thread/651845https://warosu.org/3/thread/651845>>699219I really wish the mods would clarify the rules on artistic nudity for /3/. I was around on old /3/ and it was filled with horrible poser porn, but sometimes nudity is the key to good anatomy. In the archive thread, they deleted some of the nude references, but not others. /a/ made it clear you could post some kinds of nudity if it was from a show, I wish /3/ would have some kind of clarification as well.
>>699698seems like a lot of effort for very little gain
>>700070No bullshit T-/A-pose ortho views are very, very rarely used by 2D artists, because it's hard to communicate the feeling of a character through them and, completely unironically, it's hard to draw them well, while 3/4 views and the like are much more natural.Typical 2D character reference sheet looks like pic related.
>>700205I have noticed that the vast majority of model sheet, character sheets, settai sheets, etc look like those, and it mainly just game concept art specifically made for modelers that use orthos.
Cool i have a bunch i saved. here i GO
>>700205could be fixed with some photoshopping and mirroring i guess

>>702679God sake there a lot of thirsty sculptors out there.
>>702679Her back/pelvic area looks broken just so her arse can look huge.
>>702715yes typical case of "you thought it was nice ass, but it is actually lumbar lordosis"
>>702716That's incorrect anon. the average angle with which the coccyx meet the spine is different in females and males. The angle that has proven to be most appealing to men is in between the two extremes you show there but the effect is more similar to the right than the left. It is believed it's related to the child is more protected at the center of gravity of women with this attractive feature.https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1090513815000185
>>702716>>702715And yes, all women with truly great ass have that feature. It's pure genetics and the reason most women can never get a perfect butt no matter what, including surgery. Because it's the shape of the skeleton that decides what kinda ass can be supported by a specimens frame. You stumbled on the great secret of the perfect ass that took me years to crack.
>>702722>>702723based and asspilled
>>702723>You stumbled on the great secret of the perfect ass that took me years to crack. This is why I come to /3/.
>>702716Lordosis is important as a buffer or suspension system, if you don't have a lordosis your spine has to absorb all the shocks and wear and tear is more pronounced.
>>702716It could also be a problem for girls with huge heavy implants, whose mass is not supported by their frame, their body starts to bend at weird angles to be able to walk, or even balance themselves . Here's one of the most... *hmm* extreme examples
>>702715>>702716Except maybe that's how the human body works? the spine it's not a straight line
>>702737What is that from?
>>702737Anatomy for sculptors book.
>>702723not true.>>702734>>702737It's like you quickly read something and use that information without fully understanding it. Yes spine has curvature in order to absorb all kinds of impacts, but lumbar lordosis is the exaggeration of that curvature. It's bad posture that can be treated.>>702736tight hip flexors and lower back, weak hamstrings and abs.
>>702737Spine is less curvy than what artists usually draw
>>702816>>702815What you fail to understand is that the amount of spinal wedging of the vertebrae differs from person to person.Instead of thinking about 'good posture' in terms of a straight spine to match some reference image you keep that says what this iswith a green check-mark beside it, you need to think of this in terms of a naturally erect spine. That is whatever lordotic curvature in this particular person that will cause the least amount of disc compression. The morphological variation from person to person in how their vertebrae is shaped means that what may very wellbe an unatural lordotic curve in one person really isn't in the next. You can't necessarily tell just by looking at someones posture if it's wrong or if that is how they're actually built. If you attempt to correct the posture of someone with a natural arc in their lowerback to be straight as a board you will be putting strain on their back.Be very careful about calling stuff like that and don't listen to internet memes chiropractor or similar jokers for information.Go see an actual physician or take your time to source the real medical science on this topic.
>>702821>an unatural lordotic curve in one person really isn't in the next.>You can't necessarily tell just by looking at someones posture if it's wrong>Go see an actual physician I'm certified and you are simply wrong.
>>702828>I'm certifiedLet me guess:A) You took a ~two week course from some esoteric spinal twister nutcase you paid to certify you.B) You found your license inside a box of cereal.
>>702832VTCT level 4, what's yours? It doesn't matter because what you wrote is wrong.
>>702837I don't buy it, none with that level of education would resort to argumentum ad verecundiam type strats to simply assert their position. Your fraudulent typing does not support your claims.
>>702838I simply don't care if you believe me. I didn't plan on arguing on the internet today. I just wanted to let people know >>702821 is bullshit. The only reason why I brought up the subject is because I see far too many artists idolizing bad posture. I tried to play it as an ass joke here>>702716 but some anons started writing misinformation, which really doesn't help.I know most people don't even care. It's a 3d board, not health and well-being, but if I could make anyone get one thing out of it is this >>702816If anyone wants to check if they suffer from the condition, the easiest way to self asses is naturally standing against a wall (naturally, as in without correcting your posture to the wall). The gap between the wall and your lower back shouldn't be much bigger than thickness of your forearm (on average).Problems often start at early age. It's not just how you stand, but also how you walk. Most posture problems start from feet, in this case when weight is put more on toes and less on heels, and the upper body compensates to balance. Carrying too much weight as a child in a school back pack may lead to it at early age. It's because you try to lean backwards, so the weight wouldn't push you down on your face, but your midrif is too weak.here>>702815>tight hip flexors and lower back, weak hamstrings and abs.are the muscles that need work. They are opposites, so when one pulls too much, the other gets weaker. Bad posture comes from body imbalance, which increase risk of injuries and chronic conditions.planking helps a lot, it is safe if you are able to correct the posture on your own for given amount of time, easier variation is doing it standing at a wall. The movement is in hips. Not thrusting, but rotating, sort of like a twerk, but ass down instead of up. You are supposed to hold the correct position, not go for repetitions.
>>702848The biggest culprit I found in my experience is the psoas muscle, which needs to be stretched. Unfortunately there aren't any good self stretch exercises for that muscle that don't compress the lower back. The best you can do on your own is the lying down stretch from a bench with opposite leg, bent in knee and held up, but often times lumbar lordosis is too advanced for it to make a difference. It's more of a prophylactic stretch, than treatment. What can help a lot are massage treatments. Massaging tight psoas muscle tends to be really painful. I recommend soft tissue technique where the professional pins down the muscle against the bone, and manually stretches it by moving patients leg from bent position to straight.I also recommend hot compression.Walking:avoid swaying your hips just to make larger steps, and don't walk upstairs 2 steps at a time.this is much longer than I planned it to be. I had to split the post. I hope it helps people, and I wish artists are going to stop idolizing health conditions.
>>702848>>702850That's more like it anon. Now you're talking sense. But you're way off the mark pushing this idea that curved lower backs is a 'health condition idolized by artists'.Perhaps you're just not up to date on this? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2899959/Cervical wedging is part of fully non-pathological morphology in humans and it's to a much higher degree found in women. If it evolved to be this way we can safely bet the fact that males find it attractive isn't a cultural phenomena at all, it's not even that well known even by the beauty industry. It's simply art subconsciously imitating life and not the other way around. Highly skilled artisans that carefully studied the female form portray highly attractive women with curved spines - because highly attractive women have curved spines. Now do some of us overdo it and depict something that would def be considered pathological in a living person? Of course, but that is true for every part of the human anatomy.Artists fuck up all the time, but the underlying phenomena they're trying to capture is real, apparently just extremely poorly understood.
>>702852>and when I say cervical I mean lumbar.
How bad is my posture, doc?
>>702852I always enjoyed reading case studies. I just speed read through it, very interesting. It's not really new that female skeletons are different to male skeletons.Women have larger curvature to accommodate fetus, and different vertebrae size and spine flexibility help a lot which makes the condition less painful to women. With that said, I have treated more women, than men. You could say it is because men's mentality is to live through pain, and they often don't want to get treatments unless it gets very bad.I am not an artist, I picked up 3d as a relatively recent hobby as a personal investment for my retirement. I am definitely biased, because I've seen women in pain with tears in their eyes during connective tissue work, and I just cannot find it attractive. You say skilled artists studied attractive women with curved spines. It's normal men are drawn blockier, and women with curves. I understand the idea of exaggerating features by artists is very fun, and they may do some of those things subconsciously.I also think it is an interesting subject to talk about how women who are generally seen as attractive can often be "products" of society. It's not like heels or corsets are healthy.
>I am definitely biased, because I've seen women in pain with tears in their eyes during connective tissue work, and I just cannot find it attractive. Yeah I get it. If you come across a lot of patients in which it's pathological ofcourse you're gonna associate it like that.Examining how this may present in women with a high degree of fitness may help highlight what's this is all about. When a in-shape female with a pronounced angle to their coccyx also have a lot of muscle tone or simply store unusual amount of fatty massthe ass that manifest just becomes an exceptional ass. Either of those things alone can potentially look very appealing, but when they combine together as one it'slike the butt-equivalent of when the Power Rangers ass-emble into the Megazord.
>>702881thot photos with pushed out butts, standing on toes or wearing heels are not good for such ASSessments anon. Changing subject, gymnastics is an incredible sports.Best asses belong to girls who know how to do full squats.

Man, it's frustrating how most artists do reference sheets. They're good at conveying the idea of a character to another 2D artist who can mentally break the result down into shapes and re-draw it themselves but it's completely useless to me as someone looking for a blueprint showing the character straight from the front, from the side, etc so I can model over it.Not a problem with the images ITT, I'm just whining.
>>716090Easy, learn some art fundamentals so it becomes straightforward for you too.
>>716090>it's completely useless to me as someone looking for a blueprintdude wtf it's literally the basis of modelling. find the simplest possible shape that still describes your object and gradually refine it. if you want to succeed, you HAVE to learn how to break down and simplify complex objects. there is NO way around that.
>>716091That would be the smart solution but 2D art is something I've never been able to get my head around. >>716115Most objects are either intuitively simple to break down, blueprintable, or not of much interest to me. I'm happy to concede that I'm a hack and would never succeed in the industry, but it works well enough for my use cases.Honestly I've probably overstated my reliance in having a 1:1 blueprint for what I want. It's just a slight frustration.
>>716116I understand where you are coming from. The worst issue is when detail is removed from the side. My brain not work good at figure out how make detail from no detail me not smart yet still learn do good some day.
>>708888Ok, so I CANNOT post breasts topology. It has to be the whole body? Nudes are ok then? Would a mod please explain what is valid and what is not? I am very confused right now.

>>721131I thought this is what I wanted, but the fact that there are different "types" (Newborn, Infant, Young child, Child, Teenager, Young adult, Adult, Elderly) is the problem I'm trying to fix.The body proportions should change with height, but nothing I ever see does this. Baron Trump, who's 13, I'd call a child or a teenager, is 5'11" (180.34cm) and there's no way in hell he's 7 heads tall or less. A 4' tall man would have the proportions of a dwarf, not be 8 very tiny heads tall.
