I steal peoples content and then make alterations to them to where people don't notice. I had one person get skeptical and I simply ignored his comment. I can't give exact numbers on how much money I am making (since I could easily be found out through google search). But I make a substantial amount of money and have been doing this for years. So I have to ask all of you. Why not work smarter instead of harder?
If someone notice it, you'll be baned...Right?
>>678750From where? 4chan? I don't make money from 4chan.
>>678749You cheated not only the game, but yourself. You didn't grow. You didn't improve. You took a shortcut and gained nothing. You experienced a hollow victory. Nothing was risked and nothing was gained. It's sad that you don't know the difference
>>678749If you're only in this for the payday you've picked a very unlucrative scam to run Op, so you're not only a hack artist you're also a hack criminal GG.
>>678754But he has money.I'd like to be a loser with money.
>>678756Unlucrative? I make stupid amounts of money. The reason why art has so many poorfags is because you guys refuse to look at it like a business. No matter how passionate you are, you will get used up like a tool because the people who give you your paycheck views it strictly as a business. >muh passion It's because you think like that, that less talented people like me can thrive in this industry. I hope you guys keep this naive perspective so that I can prosper. If only people who were good at art, had any business sense I'd be in trouble. Sounds like an overtime underpaid wagie who lets his boss use and abuse him. I'm sure you all have fun working paycheck to paycheck, you're really going to convince me that your way is better huh.
>>678759Wait till you get caught and sued.
>>678759Of course lot of artists are poor because they don't give much of a shit about money, the concept simply doesn't excite them. Met so many people who view it more like a necessary evil to sustain themselves, it's rare to come across commercial artists that seem very happy while performing well in that role.An exciting project is the real reward, and why artists frequently sell themselves short on the paycheck and burn themselves out for someone else's benefit.Bragging about how you steal other peoples toil for your own unjustified benefit could mean that you're either a total troll, a complete sociopath or both. But if you're truly spitting on artistic passion (while living off it like a total bottom feeder lol) means you've understood so little about what it is that make these people tick.>you're really going to convince me that your way is better huh.If it's not part of what you are it's not accessible for you to enjoy, who knows that might be the underlying reason you even decided to post this. Why you wanna provoke people to answer something like that, could be part of you feel pretty hollow inside despite them stacks of green you claim to sit ontop.
>>678764Tell me how it is artistic passion, when all you guys are doing is being told to make stuff for people who aren't artistic. It doesn't matter how well you get at designing characters, some other guy in a suit is going to tell you what the designs are going to be, so all that creativity will never get put to use on anything meaningful. How is it artistic passion when none of you guys are making money through your own original ideas? How is it artistic passion, when you're stuck in an industry that has you copy other artists to get by. You may not be stealing their art, but you're still stealing their style.. It reminds me of the anime 2D artists who just draw the same big eyed characters as everyone else. You aren't fooling me. Artistic passion is just you guys devoting your entire life to learn how to make the same shit that other people do. All I did was take a shortcut, and used it to profit like how it should be.
>>678768It's in short supply in AAA's these days that's for damn sure, you'd probably understand it better if you'd been around close knit teams back in the days when a couple of guys could make things happen.Today it exists mostly in indies or if you're headhunted based on your portfolio to come work on something that has a creative direction that's right up your alley.Still lot's of people that have a bit of experience and savvy are making money off their original content, peddling this or that poster, model, mold, painting etc.You should know this very well given you're apparently selling knock-off's of our shit lol. >All I did was take a shortcut, and used it to profit like how it should be.Almost everyone justify themselves in some way no matter what. Even most rapists and murders will be able to deliver you a version that somehow is supposed to justify their actions. The fact that you can justify what you are doing to yourself says very little about the merits of your behaviour. Even very bright people does this, only the reasoning behind their motives becomes more complex. There's many common instances of it like a scientist that believes in religion, a criminal that belives himself moral, infidelity that 'didn't really count' because of X.The list is long and hilarious.
>>678774 So let's word it a different way. Why is it perfectly okay for someone to take a job in a different industry for money, but you suddenly think it's wrong to get into 3D only for the money?
>>678749Well fuck you then, and you deserve what's definitely about to come to you.
>>678779Why is it perfectly okay for someone to take a job in a different industry for money, but you suddenly think it's wrong to get into medicine or law enforcement only for the money?
>>678779Well let's compare if this somehow happened in another profession and see where it all falls apart.Let's say we're carpenters and I come down to my shop and go like "where the fuck is all my band-saw revenue, and why is my band-saw pink and dusty lol?"And then I get on the internet and there's a guy on /wood/ who goes all: "I steal other peoples workbench and use it as my own, I repaint it so no-one can tell where it came from, this guy called me onceand said he thought I was using his tools but I hung up in his ear! I'm really freaking rich as a result, get recked $crubs I hope u stay poor!"
>>678782I don't think it's wrong to get into either of those for the money. >>678785What's your argument
Hey op, what kind of models do you sell the most?
>>678749LMAO, you're full of shit.
>>678749based and redpilled
>>678749youre just cheating yourself tho dumbass, i want to be good and i want to prove it. you on the other hand cant prove it and just do it for money, in the end i will have the last laugh because i actually had fun while you are just another materialist faggot.
>>678759nigga if i wanted to make money i would have taken a different career path, NOBODY DOES 3D TO MAKE MONEY OR ANY ART CAREER PATH. you do it because you love it not to exploit it and then later on call yourself an artist like the literal dumbass you are.
Why not both?
>>678749everyone here has been brainwashed into thinking you cant or shouldnt do this for the money because they're all actually vain narcissist cunts who only care about how others view them this results in them actually being giant losers that get trampled on. you assert that you cant make a lot of money in this career path but you wouldn't actually know that if that wasn't your motivation or what you're looking for cg is directly tied to some of the largest industries that exist you're just too deluded to see how that correlates
>>678840>everyone here has been brainwashed into thinking you cant or shouldnt do this for the money because they're all actually vain narcissist cunts>doing something you love makes you a narcissist>doing something you hate to earn money makes you a chadnice logic you other worldly faggot. of course people would have shitty views on you if your work isnt authentic and just straight out cheating everyone, it makes you look like a loser and untrustworthy, like any other business man
>>678757It will catch up to them
T. All you faggots falling for obvious larp
>>678850>it will catch up to themhahahahaha keep imagining.in the end he makes more money than you'll ever do, keep being moral and have fun
>>678844Why should winners care if LITERAL LOSERS think they're a loser?
>>678886Because victory doesn't taste good unless it's recognized and celebrated by ones peers. You're a cheater so obv you don't think this way by default, but you can kinda tell people are looking down on you and it bothers you enough to keep on yapping.
>>678888Since when is making a lot of money not satisfying? You are trying too hard to cope with this reality.
>>678889Since the things one values as an artist can't be purchased with money. The things we tend to seek can only be bought and payed for with ones time and dedication. You realize that you are addressing a mostly introverted crowd whenever you're talking to artists, intellectuals or other creative type personalities? Having any amount of 'bling' will largely fail to impress such crowds. You will have to perform more interesting tricks than amassing currency to gain recognition in such circles. There are scores of people out that that would willingly stroke your ego if you're wealthy tho, so why is it so important to you you're a laughing stock to the kinda people that frequent a board like this I wonder? hmmm.. O_<If you're not a troll I strongly suspect your fraudulent act is nowhere near as successful as you want us all to believe.Just the way you type I can tell you're not a deep thinker, I'd be surprised to learn someone so uncharismatic ran a successful scam.
>>678889>Since when is making a lot of money not satisfyingwhat are you, a teenie? wait till you get older lil child
>>678894You parade yourself as a deep thinker without realizing how much it fucked up your character. Your insecurities are being projected onto other people, and you're overly assuming what you know about others. You claim yourself as an introvert, yet are pretentious enough to act like you understand other people. You are speaking for other people even and trying to act like the whole community shares your opinion. You fit the stereotype that artists can be delusional or narcissistic at least.
>>678896nice projection retard, go buy yourself skills... oh wait, gotta work smarter not harder right?
>>678897So you lost the argument and now resort to repeating what I say like a kid. /3/ in a nutshell
>>678898you lost the argument a long time ago chad boi, youre cheating yourself and you cant refute that, not only that but youre in the wrong fucking field to boast about earning money when 90% of the people who go in to a creative path dont do it for the money, and other people that do go in for the money realize they could have taken a different path and not become a monkey doing something they thought they liked to do. youre one of them, you arnt impressing anyone because you dont have any 3D work since its all stolen and you dont have any credibility to boast about, just that you have money.
>>678889>You claim yourself as an introvert, yet are pretentious enough to act like you understand other people.I've read enough psychology to possess some insight to the inner workings of people different than myself. If you're introverted but realize this you can compensate for the things you lack using a bit of your knack for deep brooding on topics to better yourself. >You are speaking for other people even and trying to act like the whole community shares your opinionHaving been part of it for 20 years I can def tell you something about general sentiments towards people who engage in plagiarism.>You fit the stereotype that artists can be delusional or narcissistic at least. Most stereotypes are true, that's why they become stereotypical anon.
>>678749lol is this you?https://www.blender.org/press/re-branding-blender/
>>678905LOL fucking got em
OP is a LARPing faggot
>>678759>I hope you guys keep this naive perspective so that I can prosperWhy then did you make this thread in the first place?
>>678905Reminded me of that Chinese university, claiming they had developed their own "purely Chinese made" 3D package to get the sweet, sweet state funding shekels and then it was just re-branded Blender.
>>678749A THREAD DIED FOR THIS!?!?!?!?!?!?
>>678749OPs future>do this>don't actually manage his money well>people find out>he loses income>he gets sued>blacklisted from the industryLarge amounts of short term income with no benefits at all is how you end up a has-been. this whole list would be true if the OP wasn't a larping loser. patreon artists as well really need to be careful. How is the industry for hiring high profile porn artists?
>>678749So you make asset flip. Pubg and nsfm animators would be proud of you.
If this were true you wouldn’t be on 4chan. Period.
>>678757Not that guy, but I got money from my other job. 3D is the passion hobby to me. I wouldn't cheat myself just to make money.
So many tears from these poorfag artists no one will ever give a dime they dont know how the real world works
>>680460based, everyone is just crying while op makes more money than they'll ever make.criers pull out every moral, logical and philosophical argument they can to cope
>>680465Wait till they pull out the Law, see who cries then.
>>680468I'm a sovereign citizen. Your laws don't apply to me because I do not consent to them.
>>680522*laughs in State*
>>678757It's a meme you dip.
>>678779I can't write a full response too this because in my phone in my limo on the way to the bank to collect all that many that I totally Haven. But don't let the h8rs get u down man
>>680522>anon was later shot for not wearing his seat belt
>>678749If you change it beyond recognition, how can they even lay claim to it? There's no way that you can copyright similar topology.
>>679796Don't you mean the opposite? 4chan has the worst people.>>681949Is this true? I am going to do the same then LOL
>>678759Mad, cause for all ya dough you don't come across as happy, more unsatisfiedYou do yourself a disservice by being unjust OP, art is the means by which people live on further than themselves ya dig?Have a nice lukewarm glass of water of a life yeah?
>>678768lol you write like you're trying to convince urself rather than others
